In my power supply, pin 2 and pin 5 of ic mp6922 is shorter. The secondary legs of the small transformer is shorted as well( continuity test) but I have 4.89V on the 4pin connector. I can't seem to get 12V from the other. What do you think is really the problem.
Hi i have ps4 1115a and i do minor repairs, but im now teahing myself to repair power supplies instead of odering refurbished on ebay all the time. Most ps4 1115a i get when customers bring them it starts to work at my shop but when they carry it home then use it once or twice, the next time they power it on it goes into blue light of death again. Then if they bring it at my shop it turns on and works normal. Did u ever experience this. THNX ALOT I APPRICIATE YOUR VIDEOS
Boa Noite! Estou procurando há bastante tempo informações sobre essa fonte (ADP-200ER). A minha de uso pessoal, estragou e não tem tensão nenhuma no stand-by. Fui ver, e tem dois resistores em paralelo com um diodo zener SMD. (R53,R54,DZ39) eles indicam curto, quando tiro o resistor some o curto. Já troquei os resistores e diodo zener, e ainda continua o mesmo problema, até o CI (IC31) já troquei. Tem alguma dica para me passar? Obrigado.

hello jonathan I could repair the power supply with the components you told me, Thank you very much. the problem that now turns on the ps4 console and the second one goes off you have to remove the power cable to be able to turn on and do the same disassembled the base plate and the metal connector that goes to the 12v power supply is the black metal as burned. Do you advise me to change this connector? or you think it may be a component of the motherboard that short-circuits. Thanks for all that you do.
i have twoo psu with the same problem thanks so much for video,the value of resistance on aliexpress etc are 1206" 1.8ohms in this case, but are 1/2w.. in mouser part number are 1210 - 3/4w. is so strange... i dont think that package are 1210.. the dimensions i have in all psu ps4 are 1206" And dont forget, THE Q801 is the principal suspect here!!!!!!!
I see what they did here they soder the fuze eventually that caused those other ones to burn, if i soder the fuze, the most thay could happen is to burn the power suppy or you think the other componets would be at risk
O "tècnico, professor" fica mais de meia hora testando tudo, depois que acha nada, além do que está estourado visível a kms de distância, resolve substituir as peças danificadas... eu aqui buscando uma idéia para uma fonte sem nenhum problema, curto aparente ou testável, cuja não funciona linha 12v! Aí me deparo com isso... fusível ali do jeito que tava foi um raio! certeza que não é a mesma fonte no teste final!
