Hello Yes, i could test it somewhen. But i can tell you that EC360 Gold are more than enough for that kinda stuff. 12wmk is really not bad and those thermal pads are very smooth and not that hard. Got to love it

Your PS5 will overheat without giving you a SINGLE clue about it until the center of the cpu corrode itself to a point of no return ! plenty of owners have scrapped their console this way and sony DONT comment on this worlwide growing issue! And i am prepared, i got a temperature display which shows me the temps 🤗 I got now a new OLED TV with 4k so i will play with max settings now and soon I'll do a vid. again about the temps. If its not the APU, it's the Heatsink. So it's really hard to get good quality from Sony consoles. Xbox is way better with cooling quality. Also the newest xBox, they don't need Liquid metal, because all the rest is just prefect like it should be.

@jeccsron you welcome. MX6 and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is nearly the same. So it's up to you, if you ask me, just get normal Kryonaut which is fully enough. The other thing is, first check your Heatsink, maybe they looking better on the 12xx Edition. If not, it will be a bit different to install the Heatsink from the 100x Edition, because the Mainboard changed on the 12xx The place should be no problem, but the problem will be the motherboard i think. I would first take a look, just than we can keep talking about 😀

Hi bro. Yeah, i got 2 Fats but not backwards compatible. One is the M and the other one is a K so far as i remember. Both with IHS delid and all the stuff like high tech thermal paste, jailbreak and etc. Only bad thing is, shipment kost about 50€ to the US

@@NSC-Modz Manche Leute verstehen es halt nicht. Sie denken weil es gut Wärme ableitet und Flüssiger als Paste ist soll es anscheinend besser sein. Paste ist vollkommend ausreichend. Wieso hast du aber nicht das Karbonaut Pad benutzt?

Richtig. Bin mehr für paste, die pads sind nicht schlecht, selbst schon oft benutzt. Aber hier ist mir die paste einfach lieber. Fühlt wirklich die kleinsten Stellen aus, ein pad kommt da einfach nicht mit.

@@NSC-Modz Verstehe was du meinst aber das Pad hat nen größeren Wärmeableitwert und die kleinen Stellen sollten kein Problem sein wenn die Apu/heatsink selber gerade ist. Dennoch Paste ist gut aber quält sich raus, deswegen bin ich fürs Pad. Preislich muss man dennoch zur Paste greifen. Glaube da können wir uns einigen. Beim Pad merkt man aber nur nen mittelgroßen Unterschied der gesinkten Temperatur und dafür muss man die Konsole nicht jedes mal komplett öffnen.

But i play PS4 and have no issues, even playing Astros playroom it shuts off when showing that intro to the controller, it has this loud buzz sound and freezes and shuts off with a white bar on the screen, even actually moving the PS5 around i get it too boot back again to the menu maybe could use more liquid metal because i replaced it too

@@enragedgecko hmm than you should check it again so fast as possible. Check also the APU/Heatsink if it's bent or not like on my videos.

@@NSC-Modz heat sink is fine, my model is the launch model, i actually got it to boot past the repairs, i tried running Astros playroom and it shut off, redid recovery, but i just switched it off, im at work now

@@NSC-Modz Well, at the moment I have used 1.5mm because that is what I had, but I have ordered 1.0mm and 0.5mm pack of gelid gp extreme pads which are soft enough (hardness shore00 35), so it will be pressed easily incase. I hope it will be the solution.

Hi Absolut gleich geblieben, seit paar Tagen sogar wieder Kühler da es auch kälter geworden ist ^^ Die ist mir nie über 58°C gegangen, egal bei welchen Spiel, selbst im Sommer nicht bei 28°C Raum Temperatur 🤗✌️

@deadbluesky yeah, on other PS5 but not in this one 😅 All here was modified, bigger cooler, better air intake, fan speed accelerator and and and... this PS5 is just over kill 😆

Why i ask all those questions is because i own a repair shop and i wanted to know if the thermal paste would be a good alternative even when using the PS5 at his max, i replace a lot of HDMI ports when putting liquid metal back the PS5 could only stand horizontally because the seal broke when we opened the console and Sony don't sell the original replacement seal and most peoples use their PlayStation vertically.

@@deadbluesky The only thing you need to check, is the Cooler, if it's bent, better get a better cooler or lap it flat first. I got the cooler from the 1000 version on the 11xx! The cooler from the 1000 was prefect, the cooler from the 11xx was bad! Got Videos about that on my channel also. Check them ✌️

Kommt noch dazu das der chip von der xbox der gleiche ist und sogar noch übertaktet ist, und trotzdem ohne Problem mit normale WLP laufen. Und weißt du warum? Genau, weil die kein plan haben!

@@NSC-Modz I know what you think ...but your are wrong using Kryonaut thermal paste on a PS5 CPU because it will dry out more quickly...we will see result in couples of months. the PS5 CPU heat too much for thermal paste , it is not recommended

No my friend, i did this tests long long long ago already... Kryonaut will not dry as long it runs not over 80C° My PS5 runs mostly unter 60C° so no panic. And a pad is good, but never so good as thermal paste. If i use those pads, than only the ones from Graphite or carbonaut from thermal grizzly, the rest sucks...
