PS5 Party Chat Audio Fix! (Broadcast and Recording) 

Main issue solved at @7:00 in the video.

When I started broadcasting them you could here my friends audio but you could not here mine and I tried everything but could not work it out

I'm so glad you covered everything. I had this setting a long time ago and my friend just got a new ps5 and we can't hear his voice when we upload.. turns out I forgot how to set everything up but I'm glad I found this video! Thanks a bunch 👍

That's a really good tutorial: I have a rather unusual issue, I crossplay with a buddy on Xbox and a buddy on PC. On COD I can capture all our audio no problem, but on Apex Legends I can only hear me (it used to capture all in August but hasn't worked since then). I don't know if there is a fix or not, I think this is too niche of a problem

When I try recording, my audio party chat is always very quite compared to me and I have to do alot of editing just so you can hear them. Is there a way when I record to make the party chat loud in the video?

Just in case you guys didnt know (because i didnt) if you cant hear your voice in a friends broadcast while you're in a party together, go into your party setting & change "Share your voice" to allow. I know its basic asf, but no video showed me it & i had no clue it was a party setting. Hope that helps, cheers

Having an issue where when I record. I can hear the game, my voice, as well as my party chat. But the party chat is extremely low in recording. When playing I have the party chat volume levels near max but in the recording it’s almost too low to be heard.

Every time I stream I have all it on but I still can hear my self in the stream

For some reason my livestreams still aren’t picking up my audio and those settings were all turned on originally. I have a very expensive microphone so it should be working

This looks really good. Everyone else seems to go on tangents. I think my confusion comes when you have your snowball mic on your PS5 and your other Mic on your computer. When you are live streaming don't you have feedback because you have two mics essentially capturing your voice to the audience through the PS5 and through your PC simultaneously?

I have a friend on PS5, he shares his voice chat audio when he streams but his party are always REALLY quiet even though he has them turned up loud for him. Do you know if there is any way for him to change the volume for the stream without turning the voice chat up for himself? For clarity he streams straight from his PS5 to Twitch.

When I don't want my voice to be heard, I unselect the "Include My Mic" but still I can be heard in the party chat with my friends

I've done all this. When I stream directly from the ps5, my external USB mic works perfect in the twitch stream. When I use the same setup on obs, USB mic plugged directly into ps5, it captures all game and chat audio but my own voice.

I mostly have a problem with in game audio chat not recording conversation in random lobbies. I have all my stuff set to allow other people’s audio. My only guess is that everyone has their audio set to not allow by default. Which I doubt is the case.

It’s so weird I can’t hear my best friend in my clips and he has both boxes checked plus I can hear my other friends who have theirs checked and what’s weirder is that you can perfectly hear me in his clips it’s the weirdest thing

my friends and I have this setting turn on but say for example on apex I can record the game play and I hear my voice fine but their voice barely there. I don't know if this is how its supposed to be but its kind of annoying

I have a question. is it possible to mute my party chat for my streams? as in, I want to be talking to them in game, but I don't want to share their voices (privacy, you know). What happens when the chat audio gets distorted coming from the PS5

so anytime i record and clip a certain part, the people in my party are very very quiet and I can barely even hear them, and even though they’re loud when we’re talking to each other . anyway to fix this and make the people in my party louder for the clips?

I have both boxes checked for my mic and party audio and I still can’t hear my friend’s voices when I go back and watch my recordings. And yes, those friends have their mic things on so I can hear them too. And I thought PlayStation made it so that you can’t make yourself muted when people add video reports of voice chat abuse? Well clearly their audio settings are still fucked up and it’s really pissing me off if they literally made a setting where their voice HAS to be in your videos. So dumb.

Hi, thank you for the review. i have a problem I can not solve, am using a home theater Sound system connected as an output audio for the games, anyhow am using a small one ear headphone just for party chatting. The problem is when am broadcasting a game am facing a double game sounds, The sound from the game and the sound form the microphone captured from my sound system speakers. Previously on PS4 i never faced this issue until i start broadcasting on PS5. Waiting for your feedback

What if you DO NOT want it to pick up voices and you have both set to off but it keeps recording your party (not yours though). All settings are set to off under capture and broadcast and from the mini menu from the game.
