I personally shooting for the Pulse Explore because they are more versatile. Inzones don't seem to be compatible with anything, they cant connect to many IOS or android phones, cant connect with the Nintendo switch, cant connect to xbox. The only thing they can connect to is PS5 and PC and even that is cumbersome because it connect to them via a dongle. The Explore has a basic Bluetooth that can connect to any device, and it allows you to connect to multiple devices simultaneously, and it melds the audio together. So I could game while listening to pod cast on my phone with them. And they sound good as long as your primary use for them is gaming.
It's weird that nobody really is talking about the compatibility issues of the inzone buds or how anything you save on your PC doesn't carry over to the PlayStation 5. I've heard people say that the EQ doesn't matter but let me tell you I first purchased the inzone buds, and while they do sound really good out the box when compared to the pulse explore once you get the EQ for the explore and you find the right ear tips it's like night and day. For me the explorer is just an all around and more versatile earbud. Don't get me wrong you won't lose either way but considering the inzones weren't compatible with my phone, that was a deal breaker for me.
I have been waiting for a comparison review for these two. thank you so much. I have both and will be keeping the inzone’s and return the pulse explore. subscribed!!
INZONE also uses the same sound driver from the XM5. Which is very good. Pulse explore is complete new tech, Planar Magnetic drivers. Would like to try it.
I tried the Pulse 3D Elite and loved it, but they are extremely uncomfortable. I bought Inzone last night, but I don't like them as much as I liked the Elite. I'm returning both tomorrow and plan to get the Explore.
I knew it, the Inzone are just amazing and much more customizable than the pulse explore, it's even mind boggling that Playstation did not include an EQ setting for these, I mean even the Pulse 3D, a cheap sounding headset offers this feature, In my opinion the 3D pulse headset sounds horrible no matter how you EQ it but that's beside the point, it is still incredible that Playstation dropped the ball on the Pulse Explore , planner magnetic drivers that doesn't sound as good as the Inzone buds? Insane! I guess the Japanese Audio team that makes the XM line has enough experience, experience that not even the best drivers in the business can match. By the way the pluse Explore has a US based team. I love my inzone buds, I previously used the Gtw270 hybrid by Epos but the inzone buds blows them over the water in every possible category. The 12 hour battery alone is just a game changer. Great review man! Cheers!
I haven’t received my inzones yet. But I’m returning the explores. However do all the changes you make to the inzones via the app work when switched over to the ps5? The eq and buttons?
Mate, what the actual F man. I just saw on INZONE’s official review video that the 360 spatial audio is ONLY for PC. What the actual F man Is there any surround or localization on those things ? And can you use the controllers mute button ?
I absolutely love my explore earbuds. I switched out the ear tips to beats fit pro ear tips. They’re so comfortable now. I’m contemplating on getting the inzone as well?
Lets put it this way For overall use (gaming/music/talk) - Inzones But if youre a PS Fanatic where you just want to collect PlayStation accessories, then feel free to buy yourself the PULSE EXPLORES (it offers great overall sound and mic quality) specially if you dont like using a headset but if youre in a dilemma of which of the two? For $50 more than the price of the explores then go get the Inzones hands down
Inzones seem like they would be a waste of money though, they cant connect to anything because of the low frequency blue tooth and can only really connect with PS5 and PC and that's with a dongle. They cant even connect to most android devices. The Exploreres can connect to ANYTHING via blue tooth or PS connect
Good morning. Am I the only one having problems connecting these new Pulse Explore Link earphones? I'll tell you my experience. I purchased them 3 weeks ago, first connection everything ok, they seemed to work correctly. So I try them with a couple of traditional games and then on two titles in VR with the PSVR2, both Resident Evil 4 VR and GT7 in VR. Well, at first everything was ok, then suddenly the first problems. In turn, both the left and right earphones began, during the game, to disconnect and connect, autonomously and continuously, without me doing anything and without me touching them! I went crazy over it. First I went to check the audio settings on my PS5, everything was fine, it "saw" the "Pulse" earphones correctly, then in the end, out of desperation, I uninstalled them, following the procedure suggested by Sony itself and installed them again , but nothing! Whether you play standard games or VR games, one of the two headsets keeps disconnecting during the game! A really annoying and frustrating thing. I can't find articles online from people who have had the same thing happen to me, I had to call Sony assistance, they recognized the problem, so I returned them and they should replace them with identical new earphones. In the meantime I'm always waiting. It's clear that I have a bit of fear, I don't understand what this problem could depend on, it's possible that I have Sony 3D Bluetooth headphones, bought two years ago, which work perfectly for me, and these have the latest generation connection, Link , instead they give me problems? What do you recommend me to do and how can I solve it?
I think the mic quality of the pulse explore sounds a Little Bit better Not so much room Sound Like the inzone but the inzone Are better to wear and Sound
I was trying to wait for the pulse explores for gaming. I ended up going with the steelseries arctis nova pro wireless. Honestly, I can't be happier. I thought I wanted ear buds, UNTIL, having a proper set of headphones, I couldn't be happier.
How is the loudness ? So far each freaggin console wireless headset did not get loud at all. I was hoping the INZONE buds would be perfect, but now i see that the 360 spatial audio is ONLY available on PC, wtf man.
So one question, with the explore i can mute, adept volume and chatmix with my dualsense edge controller with the fn buttons, is this possible with the inzone?
There are two modes on the inzone. PS5 and PC. Both work with the PS5, if you set the dongle to pc you can control everything with the Edge but if you set it to PS5 you control everything with your headset, it's easier than using the edge actually. but if you want just set the inzone to pc mode and you'll be able to control them via the Duslsense Edge.
Equalizer settings on the inzones are an automatic L. Why is the customization only on an pc app😂 to me they sound good out the box so I’m not trippin. But that’s not a smart move.
Does anyone get told a loud feedback sound after they speak where it makes crackling sounds or crickets sound. Bc i tested them in a party and after i spoke it would be blaring loud and i don’t know how to fix that
the pulse explore It can have many defects, such as not having volume control on smartphones and other things. But in terms of sound quality, there's nothing like it. It's really spectacular. studio quality. I hear things I've never heard before in my games and music
We don’t need wireless, the controller has a headphone plug, the wires never get in the way when your only moving your thumbs, wireless always has problems with sound and charging, Just want in-ear wired with 3d crisp sound. Or at least the option to plug them in
I bought the pulse explore and didn't like them. Them fit loose and in my opinion don't sound as good as I thought. I mean for $200 I was expecting more
@@Damnitgarymy Pulse Explore are also uncomfortable for me despite trying all earbuds, they also drop connections like 4 times at least during a 5 hours game session despite being 3 metres away from my PS5
