Does this mean if I have trophies on PS4 spider man, but none on PS5 Spider-Man, but by data transferring, it’ll automatically earn the trophies on my PS5 Spider-Man???
@@thanos2399 your trophies are synchronized with your PSN account, if you play PS4 version of Spider Man on your PS5, the trophies will just appear on your PS5.
@@thanos2399 - I'm pretty sure your PS4 trophies don't need to be transferred, those are just tied to your PSN account. But as for Spider-Man, that depends on what version you're talking about. You can't transfer your PS4 Spider-Man trophies to Spider-Man Remastered (since that is a separate game). But if you're talking about playing the PS4 version of the game on PS5, then you should have all of your trophies.
Thanks, for real. Can't imagine the amount of owners that wanted some kind of function like this one with other consoles in the past...( I only owned a PS2 and my PS4 broke a year and a half ago). It was about time players have this kind of choices at their disposals, I mean, with the technology we have these days... One day I will return to gaming but life gave me other priorities for the moment. I wish everyone enjoys this console :)
@VegettoSuperSalyan I wish you joy as well buddy! Your comment is 3 years old by now so maybe you do own a ps5 nowadays. If you do, I hope it didn't broke and second thanks for your comment it made me smile somehow. Buying my ps5 console for the first time next week. Have a good one!

Not only is it backward compatible for games but external hard drives and headsets work too!! It's so cool, I got my new PS5 for Christmas, I'm almost 32, and haven't felt that child like joy and wonder in so long. I feel so lucky !! 😊😊😊
These are good times, this is what consoles should have been doing since the very beginning. Get new console - move old games to new console - build a library on one system - no hustle - PERFECT.
@@Crayveee consoles were doing this since the very beginning. This intentionally not working with older games thing and selling you remasters was adopted by the ps4, then the switch. Xbox was gonna try it too but it needed to make up ground, and now they're the best platform for playing older games
@@PantsaBear never owned an x-box console, but i'm curious. the current one coming up, is it essentially going to be backwards compatible with every generation?
@@PantsaBear There was a reason why the ps4 could not be backwards compatible with the ps3. It are totally different platforms despite being the same brand. There was no conspiracy behind it bro, it simply couldn't work without making the system too expensive! Now that systems are on the same platform there is no excuse so i am happy they did it.
That's why Everytime when we're making a an account for a console or other devices we need to make sure that we write down the email and the password on a note so we can refer to it without memorizing it to make things easier and yes remembering our password is a pain in the arse
@@alifh.syazwan9252 Writing down passwords and other sensitive information is not something I would recommend. If you have a digital notepad that can be locked, I would recommend doing that if you can't memorize your info.
This is what I was worried about with the new PS5. Praying that I could transfer every game in my library on my PS4 to the PS5 without incident. Even my physical content (apps included) & plus all of my saved data. Once I do that I will be saying farewell to my PS4.
@@goatlpsthey don’t have any good exclusives we had the last of us uncharted and FNAF security breach and everything which are some of my favorite games
Talk about a gaslighting video. Its got oppression and guilt of not owning one of these bricks and generally most of us cant afford to pay attention as it is lol.
Thanks to purchasing power that's through my job, I'm finally getting myself one! I look forward to when it arrives, and I'm definitely upgrading the games I have that is available for the upgrade! 😁
I'm so glad to hear that my PS4 games can still be saved. My PS4 is no longer receiving my discs and I can't play online because it's not updating. To think that this might save them is such a relief
@@jake38201 of course man 😂 just look at specs of monitors. Most do. I used to play of but went back to PlayStation just because I like to play on a tv and it’s specifically for gaming. I have a laptop now just for work related tasks.
@@jake38201 yeah for sure. I recommend building but right now is kind of a bad time due to part prices being so high. I remember building a console killer for the ps4 pro about 2 years back and it only costed me about 400 but now with the same parts it’d probably cost you 600-650
This was really helpful, as some or most wouldn't have even known about using an External HDD to free up the SSD. I haven't got a PS5 yet but I know I've got a ton of games on my External HDD, so it's nice to know that when I get my PS5, I can just unmount the drive from my PS4, put it into the PS5, and all my games will be there.
I was surprised because I originally thought that there would be no way to use the PS4 discs that I own, but I'm glad for whenever I get the PS5 I will be able to use them
First of all, I want to get something straight: This is a journal, not a diary. I know what it says on the cover but when Mom went out to buy this thing I specifically said to make sure it didn't say diary in it.
PlayStation wants to secure new customers who can’t afford new games and a console by allowing them to keep the games if they purchase a new one (console “ps5”)! The PlayStation isn’t really released yet, they just wanted to announce that it wont be the same as between ps3 and ps4!
Check out Yong Yea instead of IGN. It's a better video in my opinion(Console Jenga tower)and he deserves the view more than those vampires over at IGN in my opinion.
@Reziztor i mean its not like the ps5 will going to be sold out permenantly or anything. I bought the ps4 in 2018 and still playing it until today. Gamers are just too damn impatient to wait for a new batch to arrive next year and the following years.
It doesn’t work for me, I hold my PS4’s “power button” and it beeps once but nothing happens, the PS5 doesn’t connect. Maybe the problem is that it doesn’t have a button because it’s a base PS4 seven-year-old model. What should I do?
i actually cant understand how that happens i mean if its been a long time since you signed in is one thing but people that forget after a day are just weird
@@SkemeKOS lol he’s saying that instead of getting a present from his father for the last two years his father will buy him a ps5... assuming from the comment, he was made fun of for not getting anything but once he gets the console it will pay back for the two years he got no present and it will mock those who laughed
