My entire last order had these issues with flow lines along with orders prior. There's no way they just "overlooked" these after millions of slabs printed, PSA QA has plummeted. Not to mention a giant chunk of plastic was literally encapsulated on my last order as well and they even took a picture with it in there... waiting for a QA response.

I had a big order comeback and had those. Almost looked like scratches on the case. Irritated me paying big money, I want my cards coming back in a nice clean case.

I had an order returned just about a month. 20 cards, none of mine luckily none had the issue. I have an order ready to ship. But with all this holder nonsense. I'm probably gonna grade elsewhere for the current future

PSA certainly did not do proper testing before hand. For a living I take laboratory result or prototypes and scale it up to mass production. If PSA were a factory they would have been producing these things for months as samples to be disposed of meanwhile looking these over with a fine tooth comb as well as physical testing. I'm sure the company selling the slab machines told them they did all this testing, but suppliers are all the same they tell you anything you want to hear to get the sale.

Here's a crazy idea: if you have a QC review stage where employees check over the slabs for damage/defects... maybe actually do that, that way you catch stuff like this immediately rather than piss a ton of people off.

Did PSA talk about anywhere the repercussions of sharing the notes? Like if they found out you shared woild they decertify the card or something?

IMO regardless what happened and what they are doing to correct the issue this is a huge fail for PSA and a simple free reholder isn't enough. They should send out vouchers as well for each card that was affected because you almost have to think they know exactly when the issues started showing up so would be easy enough to back track and tell what cert # range was affected. Also depending how many slabs are affected offering free reholdering could potentially cause a backup in that department thus slowing down turn around times at a time where they usually see an uptick of subs surround The National. And for the record it's an unbiased opinion as I have not had this issue with any of the new slabs I have received thus far at least that I have noticed. It's about going above and beyond to compensate their customers that were affected. With the 50% increase in the price of new subscriptions from $99.99 to $149.99 they owe them that much.

My PSA cards are coming into COMC now and i can see some flow lines. I am hoping they will have an option to send them back for re-holder.

Neo - this is nonsense. Got a recent 18 card order back. 15-16 of my slabs had this problem. Another slab was damaged and another slab that got a 10 looks like there are scuffs all across the top of the inner part of the slab. Basically they are making us hold our slabs for at least a month (we all know a date from PSA is tentative). Then we have to wait for them to be slabbed again. These new reholders are not free - opportunity cost is a thing. They still charged us grading fees and took our money while they figure this out. We are out that money while they fix something that should have been caught earlier. They should have offered free vouchers for future submissions, but we all know they are too big to fail at this point, so why bend over backwards for the customer? This is a big L for PSA. I refuse to grade with them again anytime soon.

They knew there was an issue but held out thinking we already have your money, and you probably won't notice. They will raise prices to make up for the extra work they have to do now.

I have a March Vintage Special order currently @ PSA in the "Assembly" stage that had a completion date scheduled for July 3rd (65 days) and just checked and they have changed the completion date to September 26th ANOTHER 65 Days...........I'm NOT HAPPY!

I had same issue with order received 2/20 by PSA and it was in QA1 5 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago it went backwards to Assembly. They just told me they were shipping today. Their service sucks!

My order went in back early May and has been stuck in assembly for like 30 days :( I called and messaged them and both responses were “everything is fine no notes out of the ordinary” when I know in my heart something was off. I don’t like being lied to. I appreciate their honesty with this statement. I really wish they would send a message to each of us with pending subs explaining the situation and reason for delay so we know! If it gets pushed back then that’s even worse, that’s the old PSA :(

I was going to ask, same here, for like 30 days! What will come out?? I’m worried I’ll get the bad ones but hoping that since it’s taken so long I will get the better/previous ones? Does their statement say or does anyone know? Makes me upset because I spent time calling and messaging them and both responses said oh nothing to worry about/nothing to see here when there actually was :( If they treat customers this way I can only imagine top brass perhaps saying in testing to the bad flow lines “oh those were just a one off” and we need to push it out go go.

Prolly the only one who doesn’t notice the little flow line thing in the slab. Cool that they are fixing it but people love to get up in arms about everything
