Hi, just wanted to say, During lockdown I learnt my daughter (16) moved away with my ex to Scotland. And I lost a son too (still birth). Thankfully my son, who is 2, Alex, (future Newcastle player) keeps me busy full time now. I’m football mad, have been since I was young about 1994. From Sheffield but chose Newcastle. Fell in love. It’s not just locally Newcastle is supported. Anyway, (violins I know) me and my two year old are on our own pretty much now I have him full time. He’s so beautiful. He gets really bored watching RU-vid unless peppa pig etc is involved. I watch everything when I can. Football mad. You know, my 2 year knows your face. You give insight to all the stuff I don’t have time to see being in Yorkshire. You bring fans closer to the stuff we can’t see. You have my respect mr Tyneside. Not just our fans but fans around the country. I was in a bar once nearby and sone people you spoke to on one of your clips were saying some really good things about you. Sure there’s tons of other RU-vid people that do vids. Nationwide. You know the competition you’re up against. But, for a while now, you’ve been my favourite. You helped, helped, to get me through sone tough times. I have 3400 or whatever followed on insta and every single one of them will VOTE for you as requested. They’ll vote. Thanks. That’s all. Thanks for the vids.
Very surprised their fans were allowed to take a drum and flairs into the ground. I bet the same courtesy isn’t given to our fans in Paris. I also bet the police in Paris aren’t as professional as our police were in controlling what could have been a tinderbox. Well done the unarmed UK police 👏👏
We have the best Police Force in the World…..and they don’t need guns to be tough. Well trained, professional, but unfortunately, poorly paid. Their organisation at this match was incredible.
Firstly Eddie good luck with the awards. Your content as i have said before is always unbiased and honest. No dramas if not needed . These PSG fans were amazing with great passion. Good to see how other fans are as well as our own . We took over Milan not so many days ago so we should allow some freedom to others as long as no trouble . Great video.
You really captured that so well, Eddy. That was an impressive display from the PSG fans, most of whom seemed very friendly. They'll have been a lot quieter on the way out I imagine!
I’m not a great fan of this Ultras gathering , yes they are safe and the police love it , but mixing in the pubs up to kickoff would be better , Hope the English teams don’t do this ! We were chatting to French lads on stowell st in Landmark and had a great time
Our police are without a doubt the most tolerant and professional police force in the world and they get very little protection from the public or yhe government , they all deserve a medal everyday .
@@williamhenry4986 I'm not talking about in Paris....just making judgements from what I saw the other night here. Yes, I have been to many matches abroad and I know it can be different there
Mint footage again Eddie, love the look on the guy's face in the wheelchair, nice to see the passion they have for the club that you don't usually get in the premier League. Good luck with the award.
There amazing fans I watched them in Liverpool at anfield there probably the best in Europe there wasn't any trouble at anfield infact they where loud but we'll behaved 👍
I'm sure amongst the PSG fans there were a few idiots and some looking for trouble but it looks like the vast majority are very passionate fans enjoying the trip.
Proper organised firm!, Taming over their own bar with their own security and barriers. Very impressive. The March with the Ultra flag was outstanding to watch - bet it was even more impressive live…
Hi Eddie, I'm a 76 year old who's been a Toon fan from the cradle. Your channel is excellent, but I'd like to offer a tad of constructive criticism; it was better when you balanced all things NUFC with pieces of minutae about Newcastle. I really enjoyed the "question of the day" when it appeared. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Dave B.
Hi David, thanks for the comment and I still do a short historical piece in some of my videos, when it’s fitting for the content. Today I’m doing exactly that in my video. Of course the three I did for the PSG were just not the right ones to do that. I may do some more questions if the day and thank you for your channel support 👍🏻
Thanks for the up close coverage Eddy. You’re a brave man. It tells me a couple of things. 1: We need drums & 2: Anthems like that, to increase our intimidation against teams that play us. 🎉
@@meme4013 aggro? I was there in amongst it for almost an hour from the Bigg Market to the Stadium. There were some missiles being exchanged for a minute or so but that was about it 🤷🏻♂️
Wow. My partner is a Geordie, from West Denton but we now live in Inverness, but we would have loved to have been there for this. What an atmosphere. Nothing wrong with teams fans being passionate as long as there's no trouble.
Can u imagine this happening in millwall there fans standing watching takeing pictures no chance jordys must be friendly folk but paris fans wont return the favor when ur there i can assure u that
Geordies are friendly and strong. They don’t need to go around in packs trying to show that they’re tough. That’s the opposite of tough, in fact those in gangs are cowards 🤷🏻♂️
@@TynesideLifeYou sound naive all that matters to these Ultras is attacking soft targets just so they can post on social media that they got a result.....they will be looking to steal your flags in Paris
Not sure who the other nominees for the award are but you'd be hard done by not to win! Your videos consistently deliver top content with good quality production. Good stuff Eddie
I'm a wolves fan I think Newcastle fans Are massive in terms of support. They have started the Premier league brilliantly. I've gotta admit seeing the PSG fans walking with that banner Paris Ultras. There top men at the front were orchestrating there every move very well organised. I wonder how they got on when the match finished was there any trouble after the match
Contrast from our lads n lasses that just spent time at the nice canal bars in Milan and sung their hearts out. They were allowed to goto the bigg market , but then on the pitch that all changed ! They were owned and sat down waited an hour and got sent back to France.
@@TynesideLife great thanks, still buzzing after the PSG game. Thanks to your videos I can almost feel like I’m there in the toon x Say hi to Helen 🖤🤍🖤
Great stuff and makes me wonder if the PSG fans did a bit of research as to where and what bars to congregate at and take over. I suppose the toon fans did much the same in Milan down by the canal etc
Eddy, did you notice the PSG version of Tyneside Life...Sam FOOTX, just watched her coverage of the match...canny good, but I much prefer watching a baldy bloke from Gatesheed than a glamourous lass from Paris anyday.
I found the funniest thing about Sam FOOTX footage the young, blonde NUFC lass taking the proverbial out of the PSG drummer.. Although you kind of hope her parents don't get to see some of her other signage....
Them 2 divvies thinkihg they can just march thru the police towards psg fans marching tho....🙈🤣 pmsl...wtf were they thinking😂😂😂 embarrassing lol. But amazing content👏👏⚽️
Can’t believe the walkthrough they get. Same probably will be said for Geordie fans in Paris it’s even more important over there expect being targeted even smaller groups. Great result tho well done toon unbelievable you spanked them lol from gooner 👏🏻
You'll get nothing of the sort son when we went there (chelsea) we got heavy handed police and mob after mob avin a go they did however got done but as we started to split up loads of fans got picked off some really cut CARE FREE !%
@mattjmod maybe our old rep preceded us just b careful mate our coppers ain't nothing like theirs there fkin horrible certainly don't wanna put u off going good show by the way and great result!%%
Class Eddie good craic them shaking your hand I love out like that! Mind I do worry for our fans traveling over Paris especially the way the Liverpool fans were treat by there police, i think I’ll give Paris a miss haha. Belter video mate👍
You should win content creator for a football RU-vidr with the biggest balls..! I hope that doesn’t come across as derogatory, it’s because how game you are to mix up with the away fans no matter where you are? But either way, I’ll be voting for your channel.
I don’t do it all the time but it adds a cinematic effect that is used on mainstream media now, comes recommended and my viewers are giving me great feedback about it 👍🏻
Popworld is my favourite bar in Newcastle. The last of the so-called 'pop bars' in Newcastle. In the last twenty years of nights out in the city, most of them have been revamped into these quintessential "posh" bars and clubs, which is a shame. Sam Jacks, now called The Mayfair being the latest victim. Not as good as once was.
@@TynesideLife Yeah. It's only ever busy on weekends. I think we're self-proclaimed alcoholics up here! 😂 Do you remember the Tuxedo Princess? I had some amazing nights in there. I loved the revolving dance floor downstairs. I would almost fall off it when I was drunk.
@@TynesideLife I began drinking in Newcastle in 2002 when I was 18 and it was far different to what it is now. The Bigg Market was bustling. You had Pig & Whistle, Yell, the Cage bar, Kiss and Balmbras. Before Tup Tup was a pop bar called Bar M. The good times, before social media.
FFS mate get real! For the return leg if our fans behaved like that the French police would smash skulls and the local scum would be have their knives out!
Newcastles attempt to get at the PSG fans is the title of this video? The French looked like they had some tasty chaps there!! Could not see any attempt from the famous gremlins!!! 😂nothing to see here 👍
its absolutely amazing to see foreign ultras because u must admit they are something special unless they want to cause trouble that is, I was at my teams European game last night in the conference league as i am an Aberdeen fan and we played the Finland champions HJK Helsinki and they only brought about 100 supporters lol so were very quiet before the game etc but am not joking when i say this but 99% of them had blond hair and blue eyes which is stereotypical of people from Finland lol we drew 1-1 but we should have won the match but we are like Newcastle have been out of Europe for a while and its amazing to be back and we are in a group of death like you as well but we are coping at the moment so good luck to the TOON in Europe and the league from an Aberdeen fan
@@geordieal9187 my first video is about fans clashing. That title is accurate too. Clashing - Verb: to fight, or argue Adjective: in conflict with each other; incompatible. "rivalries and clashing interests were laid aside" The toon and PSG fans were aggressively gesticulating and chanting at each other and then began throwing missiles. So, they were most definitely Clashing. If they were fighting, I would have used a different word. You’re only the 6th person in over 200K views that has misunderstood the word bud
@@TynesideLife aye yes mate- got the titles mixed up. I understand the meaning!!! The content was great by the way- was surprised you could get so closd to the PSG lot as they came towards the ground 😁👍👍
@@geordieal9187 cheers mate. As I do with my away fans videos, I’m deliberately pushing the boundaries of journalism, even though I’m not a registered journalist, I’m doing the job they can’t, or won’t do.
Those PSG Ultras came for war but lol the whole city is an Ultra from WorChild to WorMan and WorWomen of all ages 😂🖤🤍 They’re not as intimidating as AC Milan’s Curva Sud, French aren’t too scary for us English 😂
This the the definition of someone who has no clue what a ultra is about..... A ultras job is to protect is to show strength of community and passion for there club and to protect the average fan of there club they are not there to cause fights they are there to protect if a know ultra member starts a fight ect they are disowned by the rest of the ultras and it brings massive shame on that person's family being a ulta can be passed down through generations and is a highly respected position with in a fan base
@@proudtobeageordie9490That's not true at all ...a lot of Ultras go out looking for it also their thing is to steal the opposition flags .....you don't know what you're talking about
Tothe young lad that miss handed by the police..9.20....LEAVE YOUR MAM AT HOME FOR THE NEXT GAME...well done to the police stopping any trouble there... big thanks to WOR FLAGS FOR A GREAT DISPLAY...and good luck eddie for your awards...fingers cross for you
