@@brunopinto6178 i think he means that Devs need to listen to WithoutParole games about how hugely important it is - when BP says, no reprojection, or no studdering frame rates, or not have enough VR things to do, and instead rely on laser pointers to much in game. - Instead of being VR-AF the way games should be. BP always trys to report these kind of problems before a game is released to help Devs. That is what Devs need to listen to BP about, to increase rep and launch sales. Also my pet peeve which helps fix ALL of the above issues, add DFR when on psvr2. :)

Came here to say this. I've never felt like psvr was dead.. untill I didn't have a few weeks of Bryan Paul. His absence was more than just noticeable, his work is like the heartbeat and pulse of what's going on and what's coming soon. Bryan does well what Sony doesn't. We all missed you Bryan! 😸

🎧 Headphone recommendation for you Brian: Get studio Headphones instead of dedicated "gaming" headphones. They are far superior quality, are way more comfy and have a much wider soundstage. For example any headphones from beyerdynamic (from 32 ohm to 80 ohm) like the dt 770 pro (closed build), dt 990 pro (open build) or TYGR 300 R (open build) 🎧 Enjoy

Omg!!! I really do hope Aliens is more like the Aliens movie (2). James Cameron movie. One of my favourite movies of all time. Being a soldier with the famous gun and rocket launcher, flame thrower and grenades. 😊🎉🎉🎉

They were initially going for an Aliens theme when the game was announced. But they've since made a departure from that and changed the name from Aliens to Alien, and have stated they have a horror focus now.

To anyone intersection in Doctor Who, the free upgrade isn't on the store, you have to email the developers with a proof of purchase for a key.

Email the devs with a proof of purchase (if you bought it digitally you can find your receipt on the playstation store) and they'll get back to you pretty fast --- a lot of people were saying within an hour. Although it's the weekend so it might take until monday

Amazing review as always. I wish we had better news. For me, the PSVR2 library has completely missed the mark. This is why I have not purchased one yet. No Astrobot VR sequel is an EPIC failure by Sony and would single handedly push me to buy a headset. Their focus on horror is a HUGE turnoff for me. I want to escape, not be traumatized. The lack of big game devs with triple AAA quality is also a YUGE let down after we waited so long for this next gen system. I cannot imagine how they could have failed more epically than they have with this launch.

I agree it's been a bit of a letdown. I can't really blame Sony for all the horror games. It's apparently a genre that sells, and one that lends itself well to VR, but it's also a genre I personally have no interest in. The thing that really irks me is the lack of backwards compatibility with psvr1 games. I have a pretty decent library of those games that I'd like to revisit but most of them are stuck collecting dust. Meanwhile I still play a good number of PS4 games on the PS5. And yeah, still unclear why there's no new astrobot.

Alien Rogue Incursion pulls a Metroid Prime 4 with that trailer. Isn't it suspicious that the game is supposed to launch at the end of the year, but they can't show any gameplay footage? Think it's going to be delayed. Thanks for the overview Bryan

Just a guess, but its been so long since Survios announced Alien VR that they kinda needed to re-announce it. So with this teaser they announce the name, platforms, and release window, then they show off gameplay in the next. I mean, it's been in development for 2+ years. That's pretty long for a VR game

You can actually message the developer of the doctor who game with a proof of purchase of the psvr1 version and they will give you a code for the psvr 2 version. I only did it cause I heard from someone else and I never endes up really playing the psvr 1 version before I sold the headset and I am also broke af and never seen doctor who so no way was I going to buy it again. Otherwise I would have just paid the small price to get it again.

D’oh! Just saw the comment that you can get a free upgrade if you email the devs with proof of purchase. To be honest, I found the PS4 game so gratingly annoying I never got past the first 15 minutes. But one of my many character flaws is I’ll unthinkingly go to any length for free-but-unwanted, so I’m off to find my virtual sales slip.

Star wars tales from the Galaxy's edge. I wanted to like it. I tried the demo. Unfortunately with the snap turn unable to be removed and replaced with smooth turn. I am unwilling to play the game unless The devs fixed this in the real game

After the fall got patched on the 4th done more harm then good, breachers got competitive mode, Arizona Sunshine should be getting it's next map sometime soon, Pavlov got a nice update with new maps
