@@USANation01 There was a bottle of fake blood by the couch. It's hidden off camera. After he shoots him with the blank gun, his dad falls down and pours the blood on himself. Notice that after he shoots him, they don't pan over to Psycho Dad's body until after Jesse comes back up the stairs with the money. He had enough time to pour the fake blood on himself and then hide it again. It actually looks really good, because when the fake blood pools, it becomes a really dark concentrated red, so it looks like there's a hole in his chest, but in reality, Jeff Ridgway is alive and well. He even has his own youtube channel now. The psycho series was fake, it was telling a story of the rivalry between 2 brothers, while dealing with their psychotic father. It went on for like 3 years. The next video after this is "Psycho Kid Flees Country" and it's the finale of this series.

Bat Chicken1 Honestly, it's personal opinion, but if you look at his every day vlogs, and then look back at this, in this the guy actually seemed crazy, there was a great buld up to this point, his dad locking him in the room, taking away everything, including his girlfriend, his friends and his only mode of transportation, forcing him to do shit he doesn't have the desire or passion to do, then you get that week (or so) of him starting to quickly lose his mind due to being trapped in a house with no one to talk to, no one to go to, his uncle ramming into the pool and severely injuring himself...the weight of all of that pushing on Jesse as a character leading up to the moment where he finally pulls the trigger, and then in those moments before, you could look into his eyes as they dart across the room, as he demands what the combination is to the gun safe is. In my opinion, Jesse is a great writer and an excellent actor, given that he's done this for YEARS on end without breaking character, at the very least you can say that the man is dedicated to his work. I respect Jesse for that, and I love his work in the psycho series as I believe that it has helped a lot of people who actually have to go through that level of emotional abuse from loved ones. Sorry for the rambling, I just felt like it needed to be said.

@@Naydax No, if you've seen Jeff's real gun, it looks very similar. From a distance, the only way to tell them apart is that Jeff's real revolver has a black grip, and the blank gun has a wooden handle.

Well, in all fairness, when we all watched this we were all too shocked to notice those things, but yeah the blank gun barely has any recoil, because there's no projectile being fired, and there is a muzzle flash, but it's not very good on a blank gun, because it doesn't shoot gun powder, it shoots this paper-like materiel so there is a flash, but it's very very fast, a lot faster than the muzzle flash of gun powder or smokeless powder. Idk if you can tell, but Jesse actually added in a little muzzle flash in editing to try and make it look better.

Man I’m becoming old I was 15 becoming a sophomore when this ended and always knew it was fake when the series was in its prime. Now I’m 20. I personally preferred wafflepwns videos over juggers as I found them more funny but juggers vids were pretty good too.
