Psychoacoustic - Sci-Fi Thriller Short Film 

The final fight was amazing. Very emotional and grounded.

As a RU-vid subscriber, this is exactly what makes me happy to pay up each month, this is YT at its best, offering an outlet for amateurs and beginners to get their work out there. This short film just goes to show that you don't need a big budget, or big names to tell a truly gripping and well written story. To me, the story is key so thanks guys, I really loved this, so good luck with future projects, this shows real promise and true talent.

You broke my heart....well done. I was hoping for a happy ending though. I was optimistic at first; here was this young man suddenly given a super power. With his best friend by his side, to revel in it. A way to change his life, to make something better out of it, But when you take someone who has been bullied and beaten forever they seldom heal; he reacted from emotions so deep within himself that not even his love for Will could stop the impulse to strike out. That is why we have mass shootings at schools. When those feelings hit the point of no return. You hurt me - now I'll hurt you.

I really like the effect that was just dry ice on the ground. Its so simply but effective.

Good job! I liked the story. It really holds your attention. A nice deviation from the usual scifi short films that I'm growing very tired of. Good imagination!

Very realistc acting from the two main actors. Emotionally charged and tense especially from the troubled boy. I'd say they'd make a good tandem if this short ever turned into a full length feature. Of course, direction and camera were excellent as well as the editing. Great job BiggBoyss, really great job!

I watch a lot of short film and trailers, most polished far above this short but they never have the one thing this short has: HEART! You guys did excellent for the limited budget but I could really see this becoming a real project if you ran a Kick Starter campaign and had funding, better equipment and production but you've got to stay in control of it, anyone else would destroy the heart that made it enduring! :)

Essence of Trank's Chronicle movie which is incredible. Yes the actors are new and the twist on it from Chronicle is unique enough. Love the short!

The most powerful part of this film is the relationship between Luke and Will.

Excellent film. Emotional tension realistically portrayed. Interesting story of adolescents trying to navigate a difficult world with unstable adults.

I enjoyed that more than some short films with tons of cgi. Thanks!

I love to see films created by young people. It gives me hope for the future of motion pictures! I am 60 years old and I grew up on some of the best B rated movies ever made, and it does my heart good to see that good films are churning inside new brains as we speak! Keep it up guys, I will be looking for your work on billboards everywhere!! Loved the story, effects and even the acting, but I would like to know how many times you guys had to cut because you were laughing your asses off? Do tell! Great job!!

Low budget and the acting wasn't that great, but I really enjoyed it, the storyline I see where they wanted it to go ,if they had more money I'm sure it would be amazing 👏 good job guys

I do realize this is 4 years hence and you are likely on to bigger and better things but I really liked this video. I was very surprised at this movie! It does appear like a very amateurish low budget video at first but it turned out to be VERY good!! The excellent story saved it. Only thing I did not like of it was the ending. It does sort of leave you hanging as he had killed his friend because of his unstable adolescent personality and he gets crazy because he did that. But all we get is the a darkness after he slams it and it breaks into its constituent cubes and that is it. So did he kill him self and now both are dead? And then I remembered he made the wish of going back to the beginning and I think a better ending, less sad, would have been to make it as he had wished before, that when he broke it they went back to the start before anything had happened, both remembering the whole thing and much the wiser that absolute power corrupts. In any case this movie was VERY good...well done!

I enjoyed this so much.

Was the device starting to put itself together at the end? If not it should have been. Good story, with only a couple of continuity errors. When he says the factory is just a little way out of town, yet they drive all night and all the next morning to get there. It shows them spending one night at the factory but Dad goes to work on Monday, so that would have been two nights since they got there on Saturday.

A compelling thinking man's cautionary tale--well done on a number of levels! The film was reminiscent of so many young people's difficult lives at home with sadly dysfunctional adults, added to the other perils associated with growing up, and finding oneself.... In the end, however, the real power is the power of self-autonomy that comes with being financially independent, grounded'n grateful! The cube served as an engaging metaphor.... This is way too much like Chronicle. Every aspect of it. From the picked on kid, to the abusive father, to the found superpowers, to playing tricks on people, to the missuse of the power and hurting someone. Right on up to the whole speech from Will about setting "some rules" and "not using it on people". Then Nathan goes all rogue. It's a short version of Chronicle. Basically, Nathan is Andrew and Will is basically Matt.

That was yell?, sounded like Milhouse scraped his knee.

Xcellent movie.Good story. Only criticism you need a baffle on the mike to stop the wind noise.

The Room was just bad bad. This was hilariously bad. The characters, the acting, the filming, the editing, everything was as hilarious as it was bad. It was so hilarious, because you know they think they nailed it!! Even the name of the channel. To be fair, the one was quite a pudding-face, but again, that's not what they meant!! Absolutely hilarious!!! XD

Except for the anti-climactic ending, I thought it was a good effort. Shows what can be accomplished with even the smallest of budgets. All involved have future possibility, I think. My advice is fairly typical for these short amateur pieces: develop a complete satisfying story first before filming. An interesting premise, dialogue, identifiable believable characters, these are not the same thing but are often mistaken for it. It's the difference between an okay film and one that's all it should be.

Ummmmmm...the ending was kinda disappointing. Thought he might have flipped back through time and ignored the object...or saved his friend...or become a caped crusader for justice, or the planet would be destroyed, or the aliens would come and retrieve it shaking their heads at the failure of their test :(

Couldn't really find that much sympathy for the bullied kid. I tried, but he was a bit ingratiating. Maybe if you added a different side to him, it would change the whole feeling of the film.

This could be an SCP. I don't know. I haven't read all of the SCP files yet. Not bad in any case. A tragic Bromance like Romeo and Juliet? I don't feel like I wasted my time watching this.
