Effect of mind on the body
*Motivation leads to increase activity and goal directed behaviour.
*Unconscious motivation and conflict give rise to hypertension historical behaviour attention seeking behaviour had a migraine conversion disorder when an individual show stress in the form of physical symptom like nail biting peptic ulcer hair plucking.
*Tension can cause muscle tension ,increase sweating, rapid eye movement ,fear ,anger, jealousy insomnia ,hypersomnia ,indigestion ,anorexia and anxiety
Effect of body on The mind
*Physical fatigue effect concentration interest decrease motivation.
*Hyperthyroidism leads to restless mental activities and overexcitement.
*Hypothyroidism leads to fatigue,constipation can cause irritated behaviour depression and anxiety ,it can be present due to prolong sitting bed ridden and pregnancy and nervous system disorder.
*Stimulation of autonomic nervous system can cause anxiety and anxious personality ,mood swings ,depression winter blues negative sense of doom that something is bad going to happen.
*Brain injury can cause psychological problem like mania mood swings psychosis example schizophrenia.
*Any disorder minor or major can cause psychological problems example include fever headache anaemia fracture.
