Only 10 likes and 1 comment? AI and psychedelics are getting too much attention. I've always been fascinated with the idolisation of psychedelics but the pathologization of psychosis. One seems to be something we are culturally ashamed of another we venerate. From my personal experiences with psychosis and listening to Bernardo Kastrup, it seems to be that AI is some sort of projection into reality from a higher consciousness. Like a mirror or a ripple. It's trying to get us to understand it, but it is not capital "It". I've been looking for a book like Carol's for a while. And to the curator of this video cite. Excellent videos! Thank you both for your curiosity. Shalome.

I agree with your observation about the conflicting approaches to psychedelics and psychosis. I wonder if this comes down to control, and choice? People can feel empowered if they experience the transliminal during a trip, but when that happens without conscious consent, if can be terrifying... Thank you for your feedback 🙏🏻

@MindThatEgo Yes I think that's an accurate observation about control and choice. I also find it interesting that in Indigenous culture around the world there are less problems with "homelessness " or "degenerate" parts of society. They seem to integrate the transliminal much better and celebrate it whereas Western culture does not. I always find myself to be in a very tricky position where Atheist psychiatrists don't want to hear about my psychosis because it's "sub or ir rational" and Religious folks don't want anything to do with it because they're afraid that their own personal beliefs can be boiled down to some sort of mass delusion. I think two things can be happening at once with psychosis -transliminal experiences AND delusion. Have you had spontaneous psychosis?

@@odettecam Fantastic points on the integration of the transliminal, and that the two can happen at once. I agree with you. The work is clarifying where the line is, and what support then becomes relevant. It's difficult to locate a single cause, but I'd say mine was potentially drug-induced initially, combined with intense grief, like a bad trip that didn't end. Then it just stayed and became chronic and spontaneous. I wrote about one window of experience here: www.madinamerica.com/2024/01/what-paranoia-reveals-about-interconnection/. I'd also recommend my podcasts with Phil Borges, the director of Crazywise. They are audio only, but you can find them in Spotify and other podcast platforms. He's really raised awareness around the indigenous approaches you talk to.

Schizophrenia does NOT exist. And, I may be able to demonstrate :)

How can you demonstrate? What is it in your mind then?

@@odettecam Demonstrate: I meant after a healing session or more (depending on the intensity), 'Schizophrenia' vanishes! If you know someone who is diagnosed, I would heal and thus demonstrate. 🙏

@@prabhutalks I have a friend who I found out has schizophrenia. Part of the disease is that they refuse to take their medication or seek help because they don't want to let go of the delusions. So they just slip further into psychosis, self-isolation, depression and poor health...
@prabhutalks

@@karinacolonLA Indeed! So it is. The 'energies' like to control and their only aim is destruction. The most efficient way is to meet such a being in person because then our spiritual energy field is too strong for the. The other option is online via zoom. Here to help 🙏
