this unboxing did nothing for the community compared to the reaction to the price in the comments. have stated my opinion about these top tier products in the personal audio field. think this discussion deserves all the attention it gets. not a null issue at all. these companies, especially hifiman based on his comments regarding price, needs to be kept in check. the best part about personal audio is that it has not been infected by the same pricing as home audio.
A great review of the Susvara's. Nice to see what's out there in the world of Hi End headphones. I have notice the prices are rising. The Focal Utopia's are $4000. Now $6000. I am sure it wont b e long before we see the $10000 headphones. I just hope the expectation, in the improvement in sound, warrants the high costs. Bluetooth is improving greatly, so I hope these High End manufacturers will produce headphones with Bluetooth, as soon wires will become a thing of the past. Also the developments made in Dolby Atmos sound bars is amazing, without the need for lots of speakers and wires. .
Will post my impressions video on the next one. I wanted to separate them bc the video got too long. I like the current gen of BT, but it's not at the level of hi-fi headphones yet.
@Daniel C I have had a few curses in audio during my uni years. I dont have a degree in audio or anything like that, more of a broader audio-video subjects, not my major tho. Wine and headphones is something completely different. We cant measure how a wine tastes since we dont know how it is supposed to taste. On the other hand - headphones have only one job - reproduce the sound wave of the source as good as possible with as little distortion as possible. We have equipment to measure how good headphones are at this. Good headphones should not have any signature the same way your CPU does not have any "signature" while doing calculations or your monitor should not have any signature while displaying images.
I can't imagine why anyone would spend $6000 on Chinese made headphones when you can buy better Japanese made ones for $4000... such as the Final Audio D8000. ... I mean folks, do you know what labor costs in China???
Hi Mike. Most of your stuff on your channel is new for me.....i mean brands. I wonder how they sounds. For now i like the most AKG 845bt black version, i bought them, and they are the most awesome headphones i ever had, quality and sound are 10/10. All best for you :-)

digitalbert utopia is kinda overhyped, people are selling it, sounds too closed and bright and is not even in a discussion of being the best, the headphones i listed above are in the discussion of being the best (searched in sbaf/headfi/headcase).
For God's sake! Headphones for $ 6,000? I doubt it's worth that value. And, on top of that, they come in a cardboard box lined with tarts all pie. The box opens and nothing. The presentation is dry and a product of $ 300 or $ 400 maximum. Look at that steel plate in the box is horrible. But they spent money making a book that has no interest in the consumer. And frankly, a cloth bag to carry a $ 6,000 headphones? It's, at least, stupid.
What's stupid is carring about a box you ise once and throw out. This product is a hifi headphone, you're not supposed to carry it with you. The only use of the paclage is to protect the headphone until you receive it, everything else is 100% useless
