Imagine going back and changing the time line , where big ,pac, freaky tah, big L pun , etc was still alive till this day. Would've been nice to see those guys in the barber chair to talk their shit. People forget that we lost these dope artists when they was still young as hell.. never had the chance to sit back and enjoy their success in their 30s and up.

I remember the pistol whipping story vividly. The reason why Biggie wasn’t there was because he had a broken leg from the car accident. From what I remember reading about this, Biggie DID sanction it. And one of the goons that ran into the studio had Biggie on his cellular screaming at Starang saying if he didn’t have a broken leg, he would be there personally. I believe it was The Source that reported that.

Love those old Buckshot tracks from the late 90s, classic. I had a full version of I Aint No Joke on CD back in the days and I wonder if I can still find it, it had a third verse on there and the song is straight FIRE! I was on union street after that happened and what dudes were saying from Seth low was them A-team dudes ran up into the studio. Buck locked the door to a room while Tec n Steele hid under tables. Stars he was the only one standing and they jumped him. My brother asked Buck what was up n he downplayed it 🤦‍♂️ Nothing was done about it. Shout out to Starange! Always been a real one!

I fuck with the whole Duck Down super heavy, from back in the day, way more than Bad Boy. But I have to say, Buck is trying to rewrite history here. It wasn't just a quick little shot in a video, they dissed Biggie in the lyrics. "Turn a wack rapper's day into his worst nightmare. I scare, petty Mc's who claim they got gats. Frontin wit hoes in videos with pimp hats. But the fact still remains that you're just a stain on the bottom of my boots." Starang was rapping this as they showed Big in the video and that's why Starang got pistol whipped. Duck Down's whole image was about how thoro they were, and they were, but they dissed, got smacked up, then backed off, and that's a stain on their image and legacy.

Didn't Junior Mafia's boys catch Starang Wondah in the studio? I remember that. It was behind that "No fear" video. Bootcamp felt Biggie bit that line "you could be as good the best of them..." Ninja man or Shabba Ranks spit that line on a dancehall track spit years before either Biggie or Top Dog big kahuna spit that. So many unanswered questions in this situation. Buck gave clues. But, it’s still a grey area for a lot of fans. Don’t leave it up to fans to dictate the narrative. Most of them don’t even have genuine love. I think BCC needs a real sit down behind closed doors-internally. After that, they need a similar sit down with Junior Mafia. This story is suspect. Im from Long Island NY and i was taped in with a credible L.I. Mc who was popping during this era and he told me the brother from Boot Camp click was set up by someone in his own click. I fuk w Buck but he downplayed it. I rocked w Boot camp and hated bad boy.. i ddnt like Biggie music, player hater n those terms was an ick of mine. Even BIG said don't say player hater no more. Rmmbr hit'em up video had a BIG impersonator too, the wave was to Diss a more successful label bc lets face , Boot camp wasn't making the paper Bad boy was making. Still respect to BCC , they raised me musically, I def chose sides. I love BIG music now too.
