Try getting your headlights working like that on a car built today. Likely fry the entire electrical and computer systems. What a car, congragulations!!!
Ah, who needs lights anyway. Marker lights should be good enough, right? Glad you guys found a workaround. If that's the main thing wrong, you found yet another really nice car.
You should swap over the wiper arms - they've been transposed at some point - maybe when a windscreen glass was replaced or during a previous repaint - the one currently fitted on the driver's side (with the downward slant to the wiper blade) should actually be on the passenger side, and the one on the passenger side (with the upward slant to the wiper blade) should be on the driver's side - it's a common error often found on both early generation 911s and also 914s as well.
I used to love running the Targa versions of these. Quick enough by 1974 standards but still fun even in 2023! And I agree the new 911's are meh.... Nice video Bob!
Have a 17,000 mile 2012 gt500 would like to trade to get back into a 911. Had a 82 SC years ago and miss the driving experience. Shelby is almost perfect by the way.
