Both versions of (Teen and PTS) Gaara are way too good in Storm Connections. He has become even better because of his new combo routes and damage multipliers too. His jutsus can make him very deadly as well and cause him to easily overwhelm all of his opponents! You have to be careful with every step you take against this beast or else you will be in for a hard time...

Gaara has two primary jutsus in his arsenal. His first jutsu is a sand burial that causes the opponent to be in a special cutscene on hit. It is a very good tool and can help setup a lot of setplay if used right. You can either force wakeup your grounded opponent into normals or mix this in with assists to add even more pressure on wakeup. There are endless possibilities, so be sure to check out your options in practice mode!
His second jutsu allows him to shoot out multiple sand bullets at his opponent. On hit it causes the opponent to be in a staggered state and you can easily combo after this. This is a great offensive tool and can be used to bait out parries. These pellets make it very easy to approach your opponent while they have to be very cautious because of this jutsu. Be sure to cancel your chakra dashes in time so that this strategy stays effective in the long run!
Overall, Gaara is an amazing character and should definitely not be slept on. Be sure to check him out if you haven’t already!
