The British summer strikes again and it's a wet and windy drive down to Catcott near Bridgwater for our first ever pub stopover.
Great food and friendly hosts that make you feel like you're a local at this traditional Freehold pub in a tucked away location.
Plenty of space in the car park for even larger motorhomes than our 7.78m Kontikisport.
We had a lovely home cooked meal by the open fire (yes I know it's May but in the UK summer can bring any weather!!!).
Brilliant choices for a gluten free diet like mine and relaxed service in a friendly country pub, that oozes history.
Nice touches like complimentary products in the WC's and electric hook up available for £5 a night - although we went totally 'off grid' for the first time to see how it went.
All good and we had a great nights sleep - would definitely recommend it.
