Yeah because the op was intended to be Homura's story, and this intention was revealed at the end of ep. 10(the episode where Homura kept going back in time), when the ed was replaced with this op.
And if you read my comment carefully, I said this intention was revealed at the end of ep 10. If it was so obvious like this parody, we wouldn't have to wait until ep 10 to realize that.
This is such a great opening. It plays so much into the actual story of PMMM, I have shivers. You see Homura running against repeating walls; she keeps repeating the same events again and again. And then she faces Kyubey.. who just stares at her. He's always there, at every tries, he keeps countering her at every turns.

Sayaka, on learning the truth about magical girls believed that she was unfit to be loved by anyone. Also considering that Kyousuke was a musical prodigy (think imprisoned by your talent with your life predetermined by it), any relationship for her or Hitomi would not work out. At the very least, she would have been second to the music itself.
Well, the manga was awesome. I read the shit out of it before i even knew it was a manga. They used to have all the volumes at my local library and they looked odd so I was intrigued and checked them out. Been hooked ever since I was eleven.
The part with Bebe and Mami was freaking priceless! Also, the thing when Homura saw Kyubey in the sky was so funny that I rewound the video and watched it again! XD
The funny thing is this is the true Opening of Magica Madoka, The Opening is actually what Homura feel toward Madoka instead of Madoka toward peoples she loves. If you read the lyric you will understand what i am saying. Poor Homura !
SPOILERS Yes she becomes a demon, but she becomes the demon of love and human agency, impiety yes, but what is more human than defying all authority (morality, god ectetra) for the hearts one true desire? She is selfish ans sinful, but accepting rather than trying to reject that, (like the others who destroyed themselves) she was able to accept her sinful nature, and use it as a strength to save the world, and more importantly (for her) madoka

It's a fandub of the song Connect from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I don't think the lyrics are a direct translation - I think they're meant to be the song written from a different character's point of view (i.e. Homura, the dark haired girl in the video). I'm guessing since you don't know the song that you haven't watched the anime, so I'll just say that it's great and you really should, it starts off kinda girly but gets pretty dark and gruesome episode 3 and onwards.
