The first settled weather spell arrived during May 2024 and I headed out to sea to see the Puffins on Lunga, one of the best places in the UK to see these amazing birds
Dear Donny! What can I say, I envy your freedom and the beautiful impressions you experience. Thank you again for sharing these beautiful footage with us! Best regards from Vienna, Andreas
Another epic video, Jock. I'd love to have a blast out with you in the not too distant future, pass the knowledge on. Thanks for the collection of adventures
Yet another superb video, Donny! Thanks for all the work you put into these. I only have two claims to fame, and one is that as a young lad we visited Lunga on our boat and I actually patted a Puffin.
Great start to your trip, I bet it felt good heading down Etive towards Lora commencing your first 2024 adventure….you are a hardier soul than me when it comes to the ticks, my paranoia dial would be turned up to 11….i think the most impressive thing so far is your coffee pouring skills whilst up on the plane! 😁
Like many I await the long winter as yourself and look forward to seeing your videos which never disappoint, it's great to be alive to witness the flora n fauna also any wildlife about without disturbing them as you do. Hopefully the sea remains calm for the months ahead so you can relax and enjoy yourself. Grateful thanks.
Thanks rha ..I confess although the sea was calm..it took my old body a week to recover.. but thats just part of the aging process ..Im grateful I can still do what I do 😀
@@donnywilcox Since I stopped walking my blind and deaf old precious mutt last year I struggle all of a sudden, also never got swimming either. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get my boat finished before the happy hunting ground.😉 Carry on camping with the coffee n Guinness and skelp they tick's if they assault you first. Your an inspiration for us all. Huge thanks Robert
Another fantastic video Donny hopefully fair winds and calm seas this summer and hope to bump into you on the loch sometime when I’m up fishing Take care buddy
Thanks colin ..had one or two edible fish out the loch already this year but sorry to see some of the local trout have worms in their flesh ..didnt stop me eating them though 😀
Wonderful again, Donny. Shame about those little b*****d’s crawling everywhere though. Interesting little building nestled under the rock at about 15:20, any info on that?
Nope sorry captain.. not much info on gometra at all..except its owned by a millionare who does a lot of extinction rebellion stuff..any info I can find on the island mentions its not a very welcoming place..locked gates..fences.. notices etc..but I had no issues but also saw no one :-D The hut was in a bit of ruin but I only saw it from the drone as no easy access to it
