how about when you move it, it will also remove it from the "All Months" tab. its like instead of copy paste it will be cut and paste. is that possible?
What if you want to leave the matching phrase unspecific? For instance each Tabs' A column contains unique customer IDs though not in the same order. I want H column on one sheet to match C column on another only when A column matches on both.

Great video! Quick question, what if I have columns in the second tab that are dependent on the data imported from the other tab? Say for example a SUM of two columns that were imported from the first tab. They are not automatically showing, I have to go ahead and apply the formula to those cells especifically. Is there any way for these to show automatically?
What if you're trying to pull rows from one tab to another based on MULTIPLE criteria? For example, I'm tracking sales data. I want to pull all rows where the salesperson's name (column L) is "Zac" and the result of the sales call (column P) is blank, meaning there is no outcome yet. This way, I can see at a glance all the leads Zac is actively working on.

Hey I want to Do the exact same thing you did in this video but I want to filter the rows from Master Sheet to a new sheet using Checkboxes. So every time a checkbox Is ticked I want that row to be copied to the new sheet from the Master. and if it is unchecked then get removed from the new sheet. Can you tell me how that can be done please?

I'm creating a database for my company. I see that I can use this method to assign clients to employees by giving each employee a tab in the workbook....but is there a formula to graph information inserted in cells from the same row as the assorted results? Master > Sorted list > Graph
hi michael, do u have a video where to measure the handling time of an email? let say u have 5 members handling emails and on the 1st tab ~this is the place where the members will put the information like the there's a counter for date, name, dept, query (log ins, purchase, password reset) this page is only shown to members and very friendly user page. members will have their own tabs. and there will be a tab for all information that they have entered on each of their tabs. on their tabs -we can only provide necessary information and there will no way that they can enter unaccetble data/info that will greatly affect to the master file? Is there also away that the masterfile will be protected even if each member's tab made an error or unacceptable data? what I meant is the masterfile for reporting purposes can be harmed or when we look it there will still be information or data on it, meaning it will not be damaged or deleted or edit or manipulated or something.... sorry for the long message, hope u can help me thank you so much

If you have a hyper link that goes to a "website" on one tab how can I get that hyper link to follow in to the the "master sheet". I have my guys entering Ref numbers from salesforce and I am adding the hyperlink for them, the problem is when I add the hyper link for sales person A - B or C the hyperlink does not follow onto the master sheet so that I can just look at the master sheet and not all the other tabs to get the hyperlink.
I’m using an API add-on to pull crypto prices to my spreadsheet. The issue is that the data tends to end up in different rows and/or columns whenever it’s refreshed. My question is, how can I tell it to pull the price of ‘Bitcoin’ when the rows and columns aren’t static? Ideally, I’d like to set it so that I don’t have to type each coin name in and can match it to the “A1” on the page I’m pulling it to.
What about if column D was just numbers and I wanted to copy anything greater or equal to 100? I played around with the function, it seems the query thing shown in the video doesn't work with numbers or maybe I'm just doing it wrong (high possibility im just doing it wrong).

How would you merge URL's with their email in one tab TO another tab (which is the main tab) That has the URL's scrambled, so that the empty email column on the Main tab is populated with the corresponding emails found but matches the right URL?

Hi, Thank you for the video. I am looking for a way to put all my primary info on a master sheet and pull them according to the need in other sheets and insert additional secondary information with them in those other sheets. I have a master sheet say sheet1 with 10 columns- Column A:J. I copied the 1st 7 columns A:G in sheet2 using query function. I don't need the last 3 columns H:J info of Sheet1 into Sheet2. Instead I manually inserted different info in sheet2 columns H:K. Lets say I have 2 rows in sheet1 (so naturally sheet2 also has 2 rows), then I added a new row in between the 2 rows So previous A2:G2 info moved to A3:G3 in both sheets. But my manually inserted H2:K2 info did not move to H3:K3. Is there a way I can achieve this? Thank you.

This works great, HOWEVER, one of the rows in the master sheet contains Text with a link underneath (View More) but when I use this formula it just pulls across the "View More" text without the link. Is there any way to ensure that the link pulls through as well?
You can't pull hyperlinks. I would suggest you always have the URL in a dedicated column, and then pull the URL. Then create a helper column if needed and use the HYPERLINK formula if you want to
I've tried all of these functions and they do not work for me... The training is very fast and not very detailed.. I have tried to stop the video and convert the information to my spreadsheet for about 2 hours and just getting error messages.
If I change the background color of a cell on the master sheet, how do I get the background color to pull over to another tab? I was able to follow your instructions and get the text to pull but not the background color.
On my spreadsheet, I have a column that comes from checkbox answers on a Google Form. If I have tabs for each student, is there a formula that I could use that basically says, "If this checkbox answer contains the student's name, them copy it to that student's tab." Are you able to pull from multiple columns? Say =QUERY(Master!A1:J,"SELECT * WHERE F = 'Spartans' ") I'm doing a sports schedule so I have home and away teams in their respective columns. I'd like to add column H in the WHERE part
