Pulled Pork For Beginners | BBQ Like A Champion Pork Butt. Keeping It Dutch brings you another pit boss video showing you how you to can bbq like a pro. Fast and easy. #backyardbbq #pelletsmoker #pitboss
Oh I can't thank you enough for this video! I've been so hungry for pulled pork , my husband passed away in May and so I've got his smoker that I've no idea how to use so this is a great help!! ( it's a pellet smoker too) saving this to my favorites..
I got a Pit Boss Pro 850 for anniversary/birthday/Fathers day. Just did my first cook today, a 10lb pork shoulder. Turned out awesome with your expert guidance. Took longer than I expected to get to 200...nearly 12 hours! Definitely worth the wait. Appreciate what you do! Keep it Dutch brother!
You’re right pork butt is the cut of meat that keeps on giving...I tend to you make carnitas taco, then pulled pork sandwiches then use the bone for beans or split pea soup then bone broth.
Looks good! I was told it would taste better IF you were wearing a Bumble Bee shirt....ask Mark. Lol!!! Thank you for sharing and God bless you and your family.
I purchased a Pit Boss. Love how great and easy it is to use. This weekend I’ll be making a Boston Butt. I can’t stop using this thing and I can’t even eat the food I cook.
Corn on cob?? pork and beans, corn bread, tall glass milk?? Garden tomatoes, cucumbers all mouth watering goes with that pork even tho you make sandwiches, bbq pork goes well over plain rice(time saver instant while pork cooks.)
We love pulled pork. Every once in awhile! I’ll put it in my crock pot season real good with Tony’s Cajun seasoning and 1 stick butter that’s it. Yum! Craving it now lol 😜
Dutch, the absolute best kitchen tool for pulling the pork while its still too hot to do by hand is a potato masher. 4-5 gentle smashes with a potato smasher and the whole shoulder is broken down to the perfect size.
Just found your channel brother. Semper Fi. I have enjoyed my pellet grill/smoker. I wanted to try to do my first brisket. I am glad we think alike lol. I figured I would try a pork shoulder first because, as you know, it’s 1/5 the price 🤷♂️
Hey there hope you take this the way I intend for it to come out. I could care less what you do in your videos I just enjoy getting to see what you and your family is into. It’s nice seeing a good wholesome family doing things together and enjoying life. Take care and keep the videos coming. With the craziness that’s in the world right now your videos are a great escape.
Great video. Question: It looks like you are cooking (smoking) the pork with the heat sheild slide open. I had always heard that you keep that closed for smoking, and open for grilling.
Good video man, just so you know there’s a little hole next to the hopper on the main barrel that you can feed your meat probe through so you don’t have to close the lid on it :)
Pork is my favorite meat, and oh my gosh, I wish I could reach right thru the screen and grab some. It looks so so so good, great job Dutch and just love this channel. ❤️❤️
I am smoking a butt today and have been watching your video, it’s like your my chef partner walking me through the cook! Thank you for your efforts love the video!👍
South way pull pork dry rub,to wet rub,Cole slaw top pork or beef, bake bean on side some cold fresh mares lemon aid and sweet tea, pickles, good messy but soooo good
I actually do the exact same thing but only in the winter. My 820 just doesn’t hold temp very well in cold conditions and I find that just cracking that sear plate will get the temps right where they should be.
I just had to get over here to the "eats" side Dutch and I am glad I did...Danville, My was a 'bust' for us...heading back to Wyoming now. Hope you get to 20,000 subs here soon. God bless you & yours.
Watching your channel convinced me to get the pitboss 1150 and we love it. Thanks for the videos and good cooking. My kids actually found your channel keeping it dutch they love those videos.
That pork is good on a grill nice and moist and it tears apart keep it going dutch pork looks good arms family Homestead your food looks good to on the grill
Awesome fall off the bone tender ! Dutch if you have made sure to get all of the bones and gristle out you can use a mixer to "pull" the pork. Just put the beaters down in a bowl with the meat and cut them on and in less than 5 minutes you'll be finished. Quick and easy and the pieces will be pretty much uniform. Works great with chicken and roast also. Stay happy healthy hydrated and safe. God bless.
I just subscribed to Dutch Eats, I don't own a smoker but my son in-law does. I can't share with him because he doesnt value my opinion. But it looked delishious, Dutch. TFS
To fix the one side cooking faster than the other. Grab a small cookie sheet or metal serving plate. Wrap it in foil and set it on the broiler plate in the middle. Pit boss grills don’t have heat deflectors for the fire pot so the middle of the grill is way hotter than set temp. The sheet deflects the heat and keeps it cooking low and slow
I've got 2 pellet smokers along with several other implements of outdoor cooking. Food tastes best outside. Waited for the fat cap debate to start. Cook on brother. Stew season is coming soon for the dutch oven.
Great cook!!! Thanks for posting. I’m going to use your recipe this weekend and see how it comes out, we could instructions I think it’ll be fantastic!
My husband, Mark, likes to cook Thai meals, but if we had a Pit Boss, he would get more creative with pork dishes. I would love that pulled pork just alone on my plate.
