Pulling Permits. Is it necessary?
If you are going to add living sq footage to your home....Permits should be pulled. It will save you a lot of heartache down the road. Getting additions permited is not only for a safety issue, but should you decide to sell in the future, you may not be able to count that extra sq footage!!
Also, once your agent know that permits were not pulled ( and we will ask for them ), they have to disclose this to any potential buyers.
Bottom Line: Get your permits.
