Hi I live in the UK and have been doing your breathing exercises every day but I can’t seem to get the oxygen into my leg muscles so when I try to walk I get pain in my legs and have to stop… my O2 sats are 94/95 and I am doing exercises from my Pulmonary Rehab course…any ideas would be very helpful… keep up the great work that you do 👏
It’s hard to say what’s causing the pain. If it’s more like a cramp, you can try drinking tonic water and beverages with electrolytes to see if it helps. Also eating banana helps. If your sats stay good, it’s probably more of a circulation issue and should go to your doctor about it. It sounds like you’re doing all the right things!!! Thanks for reaching out!🫁♥️
I've noticed you are a specialist in breathing issues. The other day I read that people with copd can have the saturation of blood oxygen between 88 - 92. Is that correct? and does the oxygen concentrator give addiction? Thank you!
That is correct. Some people adapt to low oxygen levels because their saturations begin to drop slowly to the point where it may not be very noticeable. Your body will get used to it in some cases, therefor changing that persons “normal” saturation. Oxygen is not physically addicting.
