We're back again with another episode of "Sammy Ain't Seen Sh*t!" Last week we reviewed Purple Rain in honor of Prince, and this week we review the Quentin Tarantino classic, "Pulp Fiction." Surprisingly enough, Sammy hadn't seen this movie yet so after seeing it now, many years after it's release, we find out if this movie still holds up or if it was a product of it's time.

The reason that QT's character assumes he has n-word privileges is that 1) his wife is black so therefore 2) he has black family and friends and 3) he's a long-time friend of Jules (Sam Jackson's character).

Anyone else have those moments where you're grateful for being born at the time you were? Watching this review, I'm so glad that I saw this in the mid 90's where nothing was spoiled for me with seeing all the copycats. I sometimes forget how lucky some of us are the time before the Internet was huge and spoofs are the norm.

+RP I get what you're saying. But sometimes the movies are so spoofed or copied that seeing the original for the first time can taint your viewing. Like Mike said, there were lines or moments he saw coming because of all he's seen in today's cinema, television and Internet.

another thing he does on purpose is when they show Amanda Plummer and Tim Roth for the first time, it's a part of the story that's shown later from a different angle ,but QT makes it pretty obvious that Roth changes the words in his lines a bit.he knows that the first time ,you might not notice, but he also knows you're gonna see this film again.

Sammys a perfect example of what is wrong with films today. I seen plenty of movies that had pop culture references that came out long before I was born. It never ruined the enjoyment for me at all, only made me love it more as I understand it all the more now. No offence, but I think Sammy probably is just into one type of movie, possibly comic book CGI heavy movies, and anything outside that does not interest him in terms of acting and story.
