Battery management function is nice. You cannot run a lightweight (antigravity) lithium battery in most fords without disabling it. It's a 30 pound weight reduction for those wanting to lighten up their fords a little bit. I'm putting the battery in my focus rs soon.
How does this work the ford performance pack? Are you able to get the benefits from the ford performance's tune of the transmission and the rest from this or does this tackle the transmission as well? LET ME KNOW! thanks!
You can stack the two devices together, but I wouldn’t recommend doing it for long term. The Pulsar does not change the transmission, it just adds power only. I have an update video #2 on my channel that talks more about it
How did you get the auto start stop to work? When I click on it I don't get the option to enable or disable. Just a message an engine light will come but go away after a few drives. Everything else functions but that. A lso have P106A error after making other adjustments but nobody mentions it anywhere.
@@fullspeedfordbronco evidently for 2023 only you have to disable bms for the auto start stop function. Error came on after adjusting tire size to 33.5.
How are you starting in 2nd? Putting it in manual and upshifting manually as well or will it upshift in manual automatically? Also do you know if you can run the lower levels with 87 octane? I can’t find any info on what each level is for.
Putting the shifter in manual mode then click the + button to get to 2nd gear. Once you launch then put the shifter in drive. Don’t manually shift, as it’s too slow and you’ll hit the rev limiter. It doesn’t auto shift in manual mode. Wouldn’t run 87 octane at any level with this box.
You do not want to stack an ecm tune with one of these. These are designed to work with stock tuning only. If you run it on 0 and change the throttle sensitivity you'll be fine but anymore and you'll blow it up. You're lucky you stopped when you did.
I think “blow it up” might be a stretch, but making the Bronco go into limp mode is a real possibility. I cover this more so in my comparison video. I don’t recommend stacking this with the ProCal for daily driving.
@@fullspeedfordbronco I've had custom tunes from Unleashed, 5 Star and SSI tuning along with canned tunes from SCT, every single one of those tuners says not to stack these "intercept tuners" with an ecm tune. I could try to explain what happens but I'll save breath. Please don't do it.
