Glad to hear such a strong voice, we need more voices like Brandon Wolf representing our community. We are being targeted like never before. As a trans woman, hearing hate speech both online and in person causes great anxiety to our community. Keep exposing the hatred and the violence against our community. Keep showing the lack of empathy for human life shown to us. Keep proving the science that explains why we are here. Keep preaching inclusion and that everyone is equal and valid. Condemn the misinformation and show truth. Love one another.

Boebert that just got reelected in Colorado us one of those that has helped spread this hate, discrimination, propaganda, etc. Unfortunately I doubt she'll even pretend for today that this was a horrible tragedy and has to stop. I say pretend because we all know she wouldn't mean it. This IS a horrible tragedy and it absolutely HAS TO STOP. What also needs to stop is politicians like Boebert spreading all this hate and encouraging violence.

Unfortunately, from my experience growing up in the states asking to live is to much to ask for in America. Between all the laws in place and society with their homophobia and toxic masculinity on steroids. One of many reasons I moved, too another country 2016 was a pretty clear message too the ones who weren't paying attention how little progress society has made in a "democratic" country.

I have a trans child who is the sweetest, kindest person you would ever want to meet. She should be able to live as who she is and not be in fear! This deeply saddens me how much hate is aimed at people just because they are different from others. They are human beings and deserve to be treated with humanity. In the 80's I had an employee who was trans. Born Michael, changed to Roxanne. She was the funniest, gentlest, most talented person in my store. She used to leave me notes saying things like "when God made man, she was just kidding". Just loved her. She gave us fun and entertainment, and she got the respect she deserved in my store. She judged no one...ever. Always welcoming and the first to give a needed hug. She taught me a lot about her world, and I have been grateful ever since. This is not a lark or a deliberate attempt to be perverse. It is who they are. And America was built on the premise of allowing people to be who they are. Yes, please, republicans, let's make America great again...because after the last 6 years, it isn't great anymore.
