I’ll truly love everything about fall for sure and my favorite is the pumpkin flavored everything!!
Here is my pumpkin, cinnamon roll recipe:
One bag of Rhodes dinner rolls thawed
1/2 can of pumpkin purée, about one and a half cups
1/2 cup of white sugar
3/4 cup of packed brown sugar
One and a half sticks of melted butter
Cream cheese, icing recipe:
Two blocks of cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons of vanilla
One cup of pumpkin spice creamer
4 to 4 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
You can add crushed pecans on top if you’d like before, adding the cream cheese, or you can add them to the cinnamon rolls when you sprinkle sugar and cinnamon.
Directions:
1. Thaw out the dinner rolls, then add 1/4 cup of pumpkin purée and work into the dough. Roll out on a flowered surface and then later with pumpkin purée, melted butter, both sugars.
2. Make sure to roll it out in a rectangle shape, once you’ve got all the filling, layered onto the dough, roll towards you very tightly, then slice into one to one and a half inch thick rolls.
3. Preheat oven to 375°, please rolls into an ungreased casserole dish, cover with a towel and let rise for an additional 15 minutes.
4. Place in oven and cook for about 15 to 20 minutes making sure to check on them. Bring them out set aside and let cool now to make the cream cheese icing.
5. Combine all ingredients and mix with a handmixer till it’s nice and smooth. Spread over cinnamon rolls and serve.
This recipe was absolutely amazing. Your families gonna love it and it’s so easy to make. I made two casserole dishes of rolls and they were gone by dinner. They were supposed to be a dessert for after dinner but my kids came in and saw them or like can we please have a cinnamon roll and I was like of course you can. So I think I’m gonna have to make these again. Enjoy.
