Pumpkin Crunch Cake
1 can of pure pumpkin
1 12oz can of evaporated milk
4 eggs
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla favoring
1 Tbls pumpkinpie spice
1 yellow or butter Cake mix
1 cup pecans
1 stick of melted butter
Assemble per video instructions
bake in a preheated 350° oven for 60 to 75 minutes

I slice my butter in thin slices and lay on top of cake mix. That way, all the cake mix is covered

@@TheFarmingPastorsWife it is delicious. In my oven it only took 60 minutes. However I should have paid more attention. The pecans got a bit dark. Next time I will take your advice and put aluminum foil over the top, perhaps halfway through.

Hurricane Ian came over us here in SC, we’re only 45 minutes inland from Myrtle Beach. We lost power around 12pm and still without power but thank the Lord, He kept us safe and our property safe🙌🏻. The dessert looks delicious! Praying for Florida 🙏🏻.

Hi ! I live in Central Florida. In Lake County. It's right above Orange County. Anyways we had rain falling all Wednesday night and very windy. My power didn't go out and no flooding in my neighborhood. When Irma came my power went out and the road I lived on was flooded. To me Irma was alot worse. Of course people on the coast got it the worse. I think they should make a law in Florida that you can't live near the coast with the beach for your backyard. I will never live on any coast of Florida. Anyways I hope you and your family will be safe after Ian comes and leaves your area. Tyvm for the pumpkin crunch cake recipe and you showed us how to make it. I may make this for Thanksgiving instead of pumpkin 🥧 pie. Does the bottom of the cake taste like pumpkin pie? Ahhh! I'm so happy I found you! My Mama usually makes our pumpkin crunch cake but, she had to work this year, and didn't have time. So, I was trying to find a good video. Last time I attempted, without an actual instructional recipe I ended up mixing I the cake mix vs just pouring it on top. Thank you SO much!! Also, where'd you get your dish towel scarf?? I need one!! Thanks again for your expertise! You just saved Thanksgiving dinner for my husband! He says it's not Thanksgiving without it.

Oh my word! Your son has excellent taste! I love pumpkin pie and this took it up to the top! After I watched this I had to make it, the smelel coming from the kitchen was heavenly and the taste was so worth the wait. After the family tried this the only thing they told me to add next time was whipped cream.

Prayers for all those in florida. Here in southeastern NC we've had lots of rain and wind all day, it has tapered down some now. Thank the Lord we're all ok and we didn't lose power. Winds are still gusting here but rain has mostly gone. Hope y'all stay safe and God Bless. ❤❤❤

Ok, everytime I hear you say you had to walk the chickens, in my silly mind I see you with cute leases on them walking around the farm. 😂. I lived on a farm as a kid and had a chicken that would sit on my shoulder when I was outside playing. Spent many days running through the corn fields with her. Great kid memories. You can use Parkay margarine (in the squeeze bottle) that’s came to room temp, it covers the cake mix better, and if there are a few dry areas as it bakes, it’s easy to just squeeze a little on those areas. I use a mesh strainer or softer to put the cake mixes on my dump cakes. It removes any lumps and I can level out the mix easier.

That looks delicious. Will have to give it a try. Also you can use 2 cans of cherry pie filling then put the cake mix on top then pecans (I use pecan halves) then spread the melted butter on top and bake. I actually got that off of WBTV cooking segment years ago out of Charlotte. Richard Pettys wife was making it on the show. Hope you guys are staying safe, and enjoyed your fish fry.

I just cut my frozen butter 🧈 into slices and laid them on top of the pecans. At times sometimes I have to grind the pecans, because I don’t have any teeth 🦷 at the present time. Actually it’s really good that way and we don’t have to worry about the grand babies choking on the nuts 🌰. Love y’all so glad you guys are ok 👍 from the storms. Sincerely.
