Punjabi plain tadka
Ingredients - Tadka dal,deshi ghee,refined oil,chopped onions, ginger garlic paste,onions paste,cumin seeds paste,coriander powder,cloves,cardamom, cinnamon, cumin seeds,tea liquor, salt,turmeric,Kashmiri mirch,garam masala,dried chillies,dried chillies paste
Method -
First soak the daal for overnight. Or 6-8 hours.
then put the daal in pressure cooker with pinch of turmeric,salt,chilli powder & garam masala.
after two or th
ree whistle turn off the oven.then heat the pan & add one or two tablespoon of clarified butter then add 3 or 4 tablespoon refined oil and heat this.then add cumin seeds,red chillis,two piece of cardamom, 2 or 1 clove,little piece of cinnamon then add chopped onions and fry them. then add ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds paste,chilli paste, Turmeric, salt and saute.when the oil leaves the masala add the cooked daal n fry them with ghee . then add tea liquor and stocked daal ka pani and cover this for 10 mins.after the required time open the lid add some ghee and it is ready for serve!!
