Punk Segment 1981 (Portland, Oregon) 

I sat next to Fred Cole at a bar in the late 90's. Super cool dude. Mentioned that he played in a band. Didn't mention (and I didn't realize it until a few years later) thad band was Dead Moon!

My freshman year. College 1977-78 I formed across the hall from Bruce Pavitt, soon to publish/edit "Punk Rock" magazine. Punk never died.

Some decent punk came out of Canada, but I can't think of many bands from the Pacific Northwest that I liked. Except for.....The Accident.
