My Yorkie-poo was puppy pad trained, but the more outside time she got, the more she pooped on the pad and peed on the floof. Hopefully, this will be the solution. She sees green, and she immediately finds a spot and squats

I've heard that over time these can get really stinky even if you clean them regularly. have you had this problem at all? cute dog btw

Thanks for the comment! And to answer your question, we don’t use the washable pad that goes underneath artificial grass we buy disposables. I wash the artificial grass pad and tray once every 2 weeks and we have not had any issues with smell. I just dump a pale of water with a little bleach & dawn dish soap on the pad and soak it for about 10 minutes, then rinse it off and it’s all good. No bad smells. I’ve had this pad for a year and a half now and it’s still working very well. Thanks for the comment.

How did you train her? I'm having trouble training my dog to go potty on it... Did you make her go on it every hour until she goes? Even if she holds it for more than 24 to 48 hours or more?

We just kept bringing her out for (potty) we would say potty to her. If she went potty then we would give her a freeze dried liver treat. We just kept doing that until she got it. It did take some work but once they get it, it’s worth it! Hope that helps. Thanks for asking and good luck

@@JessesChannel Wouldn't it be better to just spray the bottom with water from a spray bottle? Doesn't take that much time, doesn't cost anything, and more importantly, better for the environment.

Ugh, for all the stupid restaurant owners who put guests who get to watch dogs pee and poo while they are eating. I know I am one those stupid owners who thought with a dogs keen sense of smell would know the difference between plastic and grass. But is it their fault they are trained to use artificial turn as a bathroom?

What’s the point of your comment?? Did you really come on here to complain about people training their dogs to use artificial grass?? Not everyone has a yard for their dogs so an artificial pad is necessary. Maybe I’m misunderstanding your comment…
