"This gun has a light that shines down the right-hand barrel. With this I can determine a man''s dimensions. His bend, his cast and the general fit of the gun to him. So by seeing him pull the trigger on the gun, and I look where the beam is going, I can determine where he is going to shoot.

"So, here we have a 20-bore, side-by-side game gun, fairly typical, with 29-inch barrels. What''s unusual about this gun is the game scene engraving on both sides, which takes a long time to engrave and is also very expensive."

"This gun is technically second-hand, but for the pair it is 142-thousand pounds (USD 230,000). If you ordered these guns now, it would be significantly more, because of the overheads, etc, etc., so it''s about 200-thousand pounds (USD 325,000)."

"This is a bespoke engraving, chosen by the client and it has then been created by our engraver. So, here we have two cock pheasants, which is fairly standard really when it comes to a game scene. Some clients may have their own dogs, or their wives, or their houses. But usually on a game gun it''s usually going to be a game bird of some sort."
