She welcomed new reactors on behalf of the Nightwish army and posted that summary of the history of the band. She died a little over a year ago, June 28th, 2020 and that's when Gabriel took over in her memory posting the same summary. A huge Nightwish fan and this was her favorite song.

This is one of their best and Floor really kills it with both her low and high ranges. And, although I never knew you Ann, online or otherwise, bless you for your service in the Nightwish army - you obviously had an incredible impact on all who knew you. This song is a stunning testament to your memory.

First and foremost, RIP, Ann. You were there. Second, the reason this sounds different for a Nightwish song with Floor is because this isn't a Nightwish song by Floor. This came off of Imaginareum, which was the second Nightwish album with Annette Olzon. She wasn't operatic like Tarja or as metal as Floor, as she had a much brighter, more pop sound, and a lower range than Tarja. Floor encompasses both Tarja's operatic range, Anette's lower range and pop sound, plus goes metal more than both. If anything as Floor is known for the Floorgasm, most people don't realize how low she can go with her voice, which goes to show how much of a range she has.
Maybe at this point, Tom was only feeling, that it would been horrible, if Steve was not able to attent the live stream. I watched the live stream later, and read all the live-chat comments, so it was just hilarious.

The Pantera vibes are strong in here when the Breakdown hits you. By far the best Nightwish Song in my opinion. This one is a KIller. If you have to explain Metal to someone...make him listen to this...the machine gun staccato ....the slow chuggin rythm...and listen to the Dark Queen....Sometimes the Sky is piano Black...awesome....this will be forever in my top 5 Songs.........just awesome... All Hail the Queen.
By far, my favourite song by them live... the bass and double bass in tandem just beats the living hell out of you, but in the best way possible. Last time I saw them was a few months after Floor took over singing, they didn't come down to Australia on the last tour.

Nightwish, Wacken 2013...can't go wrong with anything from that concert. It was a lot of fun watching the concert stream will you and your subscribers. They were on fire for this show and the sound crew at Wacken made the show that much more enjoyable with how well they recorded it. You can feel the energy by the band AND the crowd and it was just magical. I think Tom is warming up to Nightwish and Floor. I feel the same way you described, this band and woman should never be compared to others, just not fair this is perfection. Every song is different and every performance too, and all are awing to me.
