Hey. About time someone wrote a good 18 wheeler song. I lost my trucker husband after 43 yrs. He was driving on Grants Pass Oregón. Had a heart attack. I wish he had heard thus song. He would of loved it. I play this song to him every weekend. You keep on trucking but also keep these songs coming in. They actually help me remember all the years I rode with him 46 states. Drove a big wheel from 1985 ~1999.Most was pulling wide loads.My CB handle was SPACEMAN.I’m 73 now and it’s Songs like this that I’m able to hold on to the most loving memory of all the driver I knew,all the drivers I met at truck stops and all the drivers that has passed away.Love you guys….

This is the coolest song I've heard in months. Especially since I'm in 18 wheeler school soon (manual trans) and a musician with a studio I can bring in the back, except for the drumset and upright. That's OK. Track those when home. Love this inspiration on multiple levels. Even the horn is on pitch. Hope we can meet down the road sooner than later.

Wow, pulled several Conn-West trailers in my time. That was a small company out of Lima, Ohio. The old guy that built it Jim, passed a few years ago. I got tickled when he said "I'm a white line driver..." Jim considered his rigs to be hammer lane only. Those trailers were pioneer logistic trailers lined with e-tracs, we carried 30 load bars. And with 12 inch I beams 12 inches on center, those 48 ft trailers were beasts. We would load 20k on the floor and 20 in the air. Actually more. It was pretty common to pull outlaw loads. A PA trooper told an old driver (also passed) the heaviest Conn-West truck he ever nailed topped 100k. Over 20 overweight. By the time I came on, my KW was cut to 85 mph. Several times I crossed PA on i-80 flat out in 5 hours. Those were the days.

I Miss the road i been driving local pretty much these days and playing my drums doing studio sessions for songwriters i want to write some truckin tunes back in the day i brought my drum sticks a snare and a bass drum we did some jammin right there on the spot had some great truck stops jammin, who know somebody reading this and so oh dam that was you, it didn't happen often enough, mostly down in the south

I love how some children here wish other drivers wreck their trucks because they don't agree with them. Anyone who defends bent up cab extenders just ain't not damn driver. Maybe if you watch your damn mirrors and pay attention you won't bend up a cab extender... it's really that simple. And a four wheeler cutting you off won't bend it either....
