Pure Michigan Trains May 2015: Springtime in West Michigan

Ooh what has become of the Plymouth sub, in 2015 it had so many trains and forin power, now it’s rare to see 3 trains a day. It’s rare to see more that 2 locomotives, and only once in my life have I seen forin power. I wish we could go back to those days!!!!

You and another Rail Fanning Spotter, who have similar creation styles, should consider collaboration of such. That spotter being Delayed-In-Block-Productions, provides excellent narrative to his video, as also you. He shoots in N.E. Indiana, and N.W. Ohio, and has added a new wrinkle of aerial shots. taken with a Go-Pro camera mounted on an R.C. Drone, and than the footage is integrated through editing for the final production before making the upload. I'm wondering why the City Of Grand Rapids would put up with a train stalled by lack of signalling from the freight yard, wherefore it would block numerous grade level crossing intersections for 30 or more minutes. Here in my home of Fort Wayne, Indiana, if this would have occurred, and the local police, would have been dispatched to find out why, because there is an in-force ordinance that allows only a ten minutes time limit of a intersecting crossing being blocked, before the Railroad is required to break the train, and open the intersecting crossing, under pain of arrest to the train conductor, and the Yard Master. The local Railroad Police also know of this ordinance's regulation, and also supposed to assist.
