I have a question. When would I choose the LCT 840 and when the Pure Tube? There isn't much difference price wise. The 840 has already an impressively low noise floor. So I am a little confused which way to go for my next tube mic.

Question for Lewitt. Will that Pure Tube magnetic pop filter be compatible with shock mount of the LCT 940??? I would love to add tht new modern Lewitt look to my 940. 😁

Question: I just purchased a Pure Tube and have been putting it through the paces. I seem to be having trouble with distortion during louder vocal passages. This is not a problem I've had with other mics. Is this normal?

@Lewitt please make the pure tube in a broadcast style microphone, the broadcast microphone has been abit boring. We have a couple of high end one like the SV33, Ethos, Icon Pro, BCM 705, BCM 105, RE20, SM7B, LS-208 but it's been boring. We want something special, if Lauten Audio can make large diaphragm microphone with good off axis rejection. I'm pretty sure you guys can make one as well. And please, no green. I can imagine having a broadcast/podcast style mic with the transparent tube window in the middle, would look so sick on camera.
