Had one for 3 years, loved every second of it, no issues at all. You need to know how to take care of these cars, when to slightly release gas pedal when changing gears (yes even in automatic SMG) For it not to wear out the clutch etc.. Watch oil levels, and have an eye on the bearings :) Such a unique car, thinking of getting another one, but the new M5 F90 is just something I have had my eyes on for a while now :D

Hi from Perth mate. Love the M6 , I just picked up my 3rd e92 M3 actually the same motor as v10 minus 2 cylinders. Always wanted a M5 or 6 just a bit scary, one day hopefully. Cheers.

Dare I say it? Better sounding than the MR2.

Lift off the gas when up-shifting or downshifting. it puts less stress onto the clutch and it will last longer. I had one of these a few years ago, and it was one of the best sounding cars I have ever had, but a little fragile.

Spotted a Link G4+ ECU on the shelf :) Same ECU brand I will get to complete my mr2 redtop beams 3sge swap (the upgraded G4X MonsoonX). Good Choice!

haha First gen S85 such a hunk of shit. Rod bearings, VANOS pump gears, VANOS solenoids, VANOS internal line, VANOS pump, Throttle body actuators, and that's just the engine lol don't even get me started in that hunk of shit SMG lol. These cars are such ticking time bombs.
