When ever I have a favorite artist in this genre and they release an album I always get scared because I feel like there is no way they could re-create the magic I felt in their first album. These two somehow have managed to keep pulling it off, by far my longest and most favorite group, can't wait to listen to them later in life.
Me too, reading comments and tearing up a bit, realizing how many fans Purity Ring actually has all over the place and how excited everyone is about the new album.

I love when they do happier sounding songs!! I love their darker songs, don't get me wrong, but songs like this and heartsigh are really nice to hear as well and make me happy!
Randomly searched "Purity ring" last week to see if theres any new songs. And got nothing. Days later this pops up in notifications. Great another album defo needed. I still want to hear a song with Purity Ring & Björk. That would be perfect.

Started listening to Purity Ring in highschool, my how times have changed. Still good to know these two are making creative works that transcend their time. Lovely music.
Was skipping through songs on pandora and this came up. I thought, "wait, new song? WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN AND WHY DIDNT I KNOW 10 DAYS AGO." Now I see a tour stop in Seattle and a chance to see them again. Wonderful.
I come back to this song to remember the moment I heard it for the first time. Deep in the pandemic, in a depression that was agony. Those final lines of this song swept over me with a peace I hadn’t felt since the pandemic started. So much gratitude for this incredible talent. They will always be my #1
LOVE that this track was officially said to be inspired by Stardew Valley. I happen to playing it right now which is a big coincidence! My fav indie game of all time! Love the whole new album!

I was so pumped for WOMB to come out, got it as soon as it was available. I loved Another Eternity, and discovered Shrines at the same time. At first, I didn't like WOMB.. but man oh man has it grown on me. Whenever I want to listen to Purity ring, this is the album I usually end up putting on now.

Finally!!! It’s been so long never have I been so patient for a release then Purity Rings third album...shrines made me listen in 2013 and another eternity made me obsessed in 2015 I’m so ready for this!!

I WAS LITERALLY THINK ABOUT YALL😭 I was looking in Apple Music a few days ago to see if plans for new music was coming but saw nothing and I was like “I wish they made more music”. Today out of curiosity I was looking at the electronic genre on Apple Music since I haven’t listened to edm in a long time and boom! Yeah same here. It's kind of crazy to me that this song seems to be getting pretty much universal praise but there were so many people that were shitting on Another Eternity back when it came out for sounding "too conventional." Like I'm not complaining about it either but this is easily the most "conventional" and poppy sounding track they've ever released.
Agreed. Shrines was insanely good but bands just ride the wave sometimes of their peers. Like when Grimes was making darker music so was PR, but as Grimes got more "Poppy" so did most of the genre. Just using her as an example.
@@ThePhobophile Exactly lol, I think it's mostly because their fanbase has changed a lot. When another eternity came out most people who were listening to them were like the typical pitchfork reader indie fans, since then way more people has gotten into them from different musical backgrounds including a lot of pop fans through spotify, festivals etc Also I've heard that the new album might be their most diverse sound wise yet.
this song makes me feel like iam chearing up - totaly feel happy with newborn taste and desire to live . this song and the push and pull are for me absolutely generators of energy :)
