@@EndlessOceans Sweet thanks for proving evidence though the genius annotation is un reviewed though.. lyrics themselves lead towards it being about sex if you look into the lyrics that’s what everyones interpretation is of it. I personally see it as a person who pushes and pulls, like hot and cold. Sometimes they push the person away sometimes they pull them. I guess that’s the cool part about her never explaining the meaning of the lyrics.. everyone has their own interpretation and meaning through the lyrics

Edgar Hernandez yeah I guess, but she just seemed kind of apathetic and it bothered me. I like performances that are more clear that they truly care about what they are saying I guess?

+Mentalitarium - Remember, not every one who performs is a performer, some are just artists and there is no better way for to get exposure for their art than to perform. Maybe she has wicked stage anxiety. Maybe she hates over-acted stage performance, who knows. Note, she is in a small studio room with no audience so I'm sure that doesn't help. These are videotaped but it's a radio based show so maybe she wasn't really considering what she looked like. However she is this way in a lot of live videos so it's probably just her. Also just because it's electronic and sounds like pop music, doesn't mean that it will look like pop music. Then again, for me, the artist could just stand there stone faced as long as the music is killin it. I also appreciate a great stage show and showmanship.

Jonathan Davis that's all very true. I don't know I guess it just didn't work for me. I'm not always a stickler for performances but for this one it just felt weird to me. But the anxiety thing I do understand because I've had experience with that as well. I'm not sure her face just seemed more "whatever" than "I'm nervous" but I guess I'm not her so I don't know haha

haha no not at all actually. If youre interested, its as written before, a polyrythm. Basically synth guy is playing at 3/4 while she stays in 4/4 after 3 bars of 4/4 and 4 bars of 3/4 they meet again at the 12th beat. Its quite interesting actually.
