I love playing with this big threats but they can be hard to get out in other formats. Purphoros helps make them more playable Some recommended cards I find that work well: - Cauldron of Souls - to give the big creatures persist and have them return getting another etb or attack trigger next turn - Strionic Resonator there is a lot of really good etb/attack/death triggers on creatures I would recommend copying them. - Zealous Conscripts If you are running Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker Run the conscripts. It is a decent card without Kiki and with well it's an unlimited number of hasty 3/3. - Triplicate titan/wurmcoil engine/Phyrexian Triniform for their death trigger tokens. - Sneak attack - Good to have incase your commander is not available or is stolen by an opponent. - Fires of Invention With Purphoros on the battlefield it is not likely that you will be casting more then 2 spells per turn and probably not casting anything on opponent's turn. Fires allows you to use tapped mana to activate Purphoros and then cast spells as well on your turn. - Fable of the Mirror-Breaker Each chapter helps and the 3rd one can be really good creating a token of a creature with a good etb or attack trigger.

I'm really loving this build for Purphoros. I really like the possibility of using Feldon of the Third Path with Dockside Extortionist! But truth be told I'm more hyped for Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath. Also it doesn't seem like the tapped out link is working

chandras ignition and blightsteel wouldve been better example = instawin, because it's the creature that deals the damage players get poison counters instead

Neheb and blightsteel colossus is a nombo. Infect does not do damage but give poison counters. Neheb cares about life lost and sadly infect doesn’t cause lose of life.

Good catch! You’re right, Blightsteel doesn’t work with Neheb, but a lot of other big creatures work great with it.
