Watch me paint this Purple and Grey Dot Mandala step by step... these videos are done to give you some inspiration to create your own personal designs...
Paints used in this video Global Paints... that have been mixed with Pouring Medium at a ratio of 3 parts paint and 1 part pouring medium with a touch of water... the colours are White and Black used to make shade of Grey... and the purple is called Ultra Violet which is also mixed with the White to create different shades...
The board used here is a 29.5cm MDF round... The guidelines are drawn using a watercolour pencil... rings are 1cm apart and the lines are drawn using a protractor at 22.5 degree intervals... or, 16 segments... I pretty much make my designs up as I go along... I never have a plan! That is the fun bit... I like a challenge...
The Ball Stylus Dotting tools I am using in the video are from the McGill Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and the dotting rods are from Happy Dotting Company...
