I always feel rushed at the register too! No matter how organized my purse is, I panic and just shove receipts and money into it to move out of the way for the next person.
I hate this its a trigger for my anxiety. Now I try to make myself stay in the same place and think, I’ve just have this shop money, I’m a valued customer lol so no I won’t rush out of the way, I will stay still and pack the bag properly and put my bank card back in to my purse instead of throwing it anyway in bag then lose it later on because of this. I’m sure the cashier can Wait till I’m done !! 😅
Oh my. I can’t believe how she did her bills. Mine always face the same direction, are right side up, and are organized with higher denominations in the back. Those bills are not organized
I didn't either! I always burn them anyway because there's private info on it like card number etc so would prefer to burn than have in bin or recycling bin
In prior videos she talks about going through stages of overwhelm. I think it's because she spent so much time trying to live up to her reputation as "The most organized person". It seems to me that Alejandra is letting us now see a more realistic side to her life. I personally prefer these types of videos over the ones where she came across as so "perfect". I never felt I could live up to those. Glad to have you back!!
This whole new 10 min teaching style has really helped me! I have to fight my all or nothing personality type which is my natural instinct but nothing gets done like that. I’ve started telling myself 10 mins is better than no minutes! Thank you Alejandra!
i have a really weird fear of getting stuck in an elevator and not having water on me, meaning i would be very dehydrated. i always have water on me too for that reason
I didn't know you can't recycle receipts? I highly recommend her personal productivity plan. I have been messy for 40 years and i am finally getting my life more organized. I have been doing it for about 6 months sand have seen results. She just doesn't give tips like the videos. You really examine your reasons for clutter and how your organizational style makes a difference. Worth it. Thank you Alejandra.
This is definitely an ASMR video for me. Looove watching it. The crinkling of the papers, bills, and receipts as well as the sound of your voice all combine into a very soothing auditory experience.
Her: let's do this together " me : ok let's do this " her: I haven't cleaned my purse in 2 weeks" me: * looks at my purse and thinks in head* " I haven't cleaned my purse out in 2 years"😂😂
lindsey smith yep same... and if I have more than one bill of same value I put them in order of “crispiness” ( even though I only keep new bills only and I NEVER fold the bills and I use the envelope type wallets so the kind of wallet Alejandra has... honestly that’d be a nightmare for me rotfl
+esi4ever LOL! You're in good company here! I'm very paranoid about new, crisp bills....they stick together. So, I have to crumble them up so they hopefully won't stick together & if that doesn't work, I will alternate new with older! It's exhausting having OCD! LMAO
What a satisfying feeling to clean & organize your bag! 😊 I take everything out as well, but also flip the bag & shake it over a trash can. You’d be surprise at all the little pieces of paper/trash that would fall out.
I have a little routine with cleaning out my purse and I do clean it out regularly. Don’t know why but just can’t stand a messy purse. Love the video .. I always pick up a tip or two. 👜
I been loving this new series. I want to thank you for this new idea to take a short amount of time to make some place better. I used this technique to ask my husband to clean out his closet. He always said it would take too long. I asked him for 20min and he agreed, yeah 😀. I think it took less than the 20. We got rid of item he didn't wear or didn't fit, moved sentimental and costume items to store. Now there is room for the items he does wear. It's been years that this needed to be done, thanks so much ♥️
I love how she advises us on how to be organised, and yet a lot of us watching are already super organised and enjoy watching for how satisfying it is and because we genuinely enjoy it. I mean I clean out my bag every single day, I don't know about you lot, but I love it!
I have a few good branded bags n I don’t use the same bag every day as I m not a working person so I don’t have a business bag .. even if I was working I would change bag according to my dress that day ☺️. So my trick is to keep a caddy or basket right in my bags closet where I empty them out as soon as I get home .. n put the bag nicely back in its cover bag n it’s shelf . Next day whatever bag I want I pick .. go to basket n pick what I need for that day .. I have a compartment in caddy only for receipts etc .. keeps my bags safe n I carry stuff only I need for that outing..
Glad to see you continuing your videos! I enjoy them a lot!! I usually clean out my purse sitting in a parking lot waiting for an appointment! And I keep 2-3 small zipper bags in my purse for like items and a plastic envelop for receipts. And I have a packable bag from Target too in my planner bag! Now I need to find my coupon envelop! I feel so smart! LOL Thanks!!

Usually I find my purse weighed down by change...so any change that is more than a dollar goes into a change jar on my bureau. That change eventually gets turned into an amazon or coffee card

I am watching your most recent purse clean out video. Thank you for your very detailed information. I've watched many of your videos and they all are well planned (and dare I say organized?!!). I would like to share very nice brand of purse that is highly organized. It's called multi sac. I've carried them for years. They may not be everyones style but they are so easy to keep organized!
I use small makeup bags to sort things in my purse. I have two in my purse right now. I love it, then there is not junk all over, and every thing is easy to find.
Whatching you do this is always so satisfying. I am quite organized myself so I love watching you cleaning up and sometimes I discover new methods. I have had the little extra little bag in my purse for years now. It's great that it works for you too.also I really like your purse :)
I just watched my first video from you yesterday. So excited about organizing my home and getting the whole family involved! I did cringe inside when I saw you organize your money. Perhaps it's because I use to be a teller, or just my own personal preference, but I do believe in addition to being in order, the bills should all be facing the same way. 😕

It's blowing my mind 🤯 that you don't use a purse organizer/insert!! 😄 I also use plastic zipper envelopes for receipts & change (Amazon) & for many other things around the house...my purse stays organized & I can literally find anything blindfolded or in the dark! 😁👍
I carry a big purse and the only purse items that I have in it is my purse essential pouch that has only my house keys, cellphone and cellphone charger, pens, and a little pouch as my wallet. I also carry a journal with me that can fit in my purse 😉😊😊😊😊
