What has your experience with cracking paint been in the flap area that opens and closes? For your other purse and this one have you had any issues with the paint cracking off from the areas that get bent and scuffed?
Hi there, so far I haven't seen any cracking in that area. It may be because the leather is very durable and also because I don't wear my bags everyday. If there is cracking it's usually on the straps.

When working with oxford cloth and polyester lining, you'll want to choose paints that adhere well to these specific materials and provide good durability and colorfastness. Here are some suitable options: For Oxford Cloth: Acrylic Paints: Acrylic paints are versatile and can adhere well to oxford cloth. They offer vibrant colors, good coverage, and flexibility when dry. Make sure to use fabric or textile acrylic paints for best results. Fabric Paints: Specifically formulated for fabric applications, fabric paints are an excellent choice for oxford cloth. They bond effectively with the fibers and maintain flexibility after drying. Fabric Markers: Fabric markers are a convenient option for adding details or designs to oxford cloth. They come in various colors and tip sizes, allowing for precise and intricate work. For Polyester Lining: Acrylic Paints: Acrylic paints can work on polyester lining as well, but it's important to ensure they adhere properly to the smooth surface. Prepping the surface by lightly sanding or using a fabric primer designed for polyester can improve adhesion. Fabric Paints: Choose fabric paints that are labeled as suitable for polyester fabrics. These paints are designed to adhere well and remain flexible on synthetic fibers. Permanent Markers: Permanent markers labeled for use on fabric and polyester can be used to add small details or designs to the lining. Before applying any paint or marker, it's advisable to conduct a patch test on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric to ensure that the chosen medium adheres well and doesn't cause any unwanted effects. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for application, heat setting, and care to achieve the best results and longevity of your painted designs on oxford cloth and polyester lining. * this is a chatgbt generated response*
Hi it doesn't rub off on my clothes, but a sealer cant hurt. I recommend using a leather cleaner to see if the paint would come off wen wet or if cleaned. I tried it on this purse and no paint came off I linked the products used on my description box.
