Is it possible for you guys to foil request the deputies body cam, if they have them?

What is wrong with you people? Cops and most commenters. The motorcycle guy was guilty of running. He wasn't a suspect in a homicide, he hadn't robbed, assaulted, raped, or done ANYTHING to anyone. He fled. I almost can't blame him. I don't want to talk to these backwoods fools either. My house, in a 45mph residential zone, is seen in the video as several deadly weapons with blue lights pass by at 90mph in a 45. Every moving violation this guy was charged with was repeated multiple times by the morons chasing him. What I don't see is Assault with a Deadly Weapon (cop CARS) and Public Endangerment (again, cops). This video is infuriating! Before my comments are attacked, remember, I have to live here. I've lived in many other places and can say that most police agencies have the public welfare in mind, rather than their own testosterone. I watched this because I had a black motorcycle stolen 3 years ago and have heard nothing these cops. While filling out the police report, the cop actually suggested that I look for incidental camera footage, I guess so I could SERVE and PROTECT myself. Don't give these guys too much credit: they protected me and you from this guy's failure to register and failure to carry insurance. MY tax dollars are actually endangering me and those around me.

What would have prevented all of this, Warren? One simple answer.

@@NaturalStateTransparency I voiced my opinion and don't believe there's anything to debate here. It's on camera. If there is no admission that the entire thing was dangerous (with the caveat that sometimes that kind of danger is warranted), we are at an impasse and will have to agree to disagree. You are police officers. I am but a lowly engineer. I will play though. First and foremost, the motorcyclist should, at some point in his life, been taught that if you see emergency vehicles in your rearview mirror, you PULL OVER. Believe me, I have no empathy for the guy . His poor decision making drew you guys into this. However, you are incorrect that there is one simple answer, there never is. Having a career path in law enforcement, I'm sorry to tell you, does not mean that you absolutely know the "One Simple Answer". You should know better. The pursuit should have started, I don't disagree there. At some point however, you should recognize that real risk to life and limb outweighs getting your guy. I'm not alone in that either, the chase was called off because the school was about to let out. Heck, there were options there. Now that I've provided you with the answer you wanted to hear, how about an answer to my question (there is not "one simple answer")? I'll phrase my question like this: As my house was passed at 90 mph on a busy road, if I happened to be checking my mailbox and one of your cars struck and killed me, what would your answer have been in this hypothetical when the prosecutor asked you, "What would have prevented Warren's death?" The answer to that question is not the same as the one I gave you. Being a cop does not automatically make you correct. It's embarassing that you think it does. Maybe when one of the cop cars went into the other lane on a blind corner someone would have thought, "Wait, this isn't worth it." In fact, someone calling the shots actually said that on the radio. Kudos to him. I want to be very, very clear. I am not approving, defending, advocating, or anything else similar, what the idiot on the bike did. I am in fact, glad you got him. The danger that you guys put yourself in is your own call, but I think you should get your speed thrills on the track as I do. Again, unless of course the danger is warranted. If he was suspected of rape or another serious crime against another citizen that really needs the powers granted to you, I would have thanked you all as most others did. Indeed, it would have been very refreshing to see local law enforcement help someone. I think the danger that you put unwitting citizens in, given the situation, is reprehensible and I always will. That has nothing to do with my opinion of local law enforcement. It was very dangerous. If you flatly disagree, your credibility is gone, so please don't downplay it. I took the time to answer your question and perhaps further clarify that I am not against everything local law enforcement does. To be fair, it's easy for me to armchair quarterback this thing. I am interested in what your thoughts are on, well, anything. So far you've only implied that you believe you are right. I wouldn't have thought you'd do anything but. A thoughtful and introspective answer would be most appreciated. If it's just more of the same (i.e. "I'm right, you're wrong), don't bother. I'm not looking for a debate, especially with the guys that do or can easily find out exactly where I live and can make life much more uncomfortable for me.

@@warren8283 I used to work for an ex cop who started going nuts and quit to be a carpenter. He would always say that cops+robbers were of the same mind. Just, one is employed by the State and one is self employed 😆

Dirt bikers were clowning the cops even on the mini crotch rockets that can barely go. It's not the speed, it's how you handle whatever you're driving. Speed just makes it easier

@@MrOmegaEquinox 3.5 Eco-boost Interceptor is boosted, the Explorers do have a reduced speed however. I am surprised the speed limiter is letting them get up to 105, usually, they cut fuel and spark at 95. Ford does that since the Interceptor Explorers have a higher roll over risk. Also, the RPM's are higher on the Interceptor tune, the do this for throttle response, and torque converter lock up. Dont forget the Ford Taurus Interceptor holds a record for fastest Pursuit vehicle in the US, at 165 MPH. The speeds are limited for because reasons.... lame.

@@Dudz_MgGee the Taurus wasn’t rated at 165 top speed it was 150. And that explorer is a 3.7 NA you can tell from the sound and how high it revs.
