You are right but I think part of the problem is the accepted term "Fast Lane" rather than passing lane. Fast lane leads to the idea that is the lane to b e in if you want to go fast regardless of whether overtaking someone.
I was think the same thing, so many brain dead dumb ass people in fast lane unaware of what to do when a cop is barreling down behind them. Astounded at the stupidity in this day and age.
@@DirtySallysweetsally You're stupidly cluelessly overlooking that some of these vehicles are STOLEN and so wouldn't list who the thief is riding it during the chase. So getting the tag is useless, dummy. Wise up.
That Arkansas State trooper is more reckless than the guy he's chasing on the motorcycle for a just traffic violations. One of these days unfortunately the Arkansas State Police are really going to cause a major accident with some fatalities of innocent lives over just chasing someone for traffic violations.
@@Scotty-vs4lf yes I agree with you totally the only time I believe a high speed pit maneuver should be performed is on a violent felony criminal not just someone for traffic violations.
@@mikemission9230 yeah i understand taking the risk if the person is known to be a dangerous criminal, but if all they did (that the cop knows of) is a traffic violation then its pretty overkill
The biker should have stopped. By running he became an instant felon. All the folks saying the cop is chasing someone for a simple citation is dead wrong. The cop is chasing a felon.
Agreed but I feel like what's more reckless is how people camp the left lane... If people actually followed the laws and used the left lanes only for passing, then this chase wouldn't be dangerous at all. People just don't know how to drive nowadays...
The problem with your comment is that if the police just DIDN'T chase people on motorcycles, every person looking to commit a crime would just use one. Any bit of leniency would be exploited by offenders.
Well it's already illegal to try to "pit" a motorcycle (for obvious reasons) so what you're talking about is basically a government-sanctioned getaway vehicle for anyone committing any crime. What could go wrong with that?
@@-Gorby- If only they made some kind of craft that flies through the air, one that could follow a bike as the bird flies without ramming into multiple vehicles while losing the pursuit. There was no way in hell he was catching that street bike but, I get this feeling that he was on that interstate for a while chasing a bike that got off 6 exits ago. 😅
The biker is a moron with no respect for the law, himself, or his family. These are the pathetic miscreants who give the huge majority of law abiding riders a bad name.
I was both a police officer and a deputy Sheriff. This cop chasing a motorcycle for over seven minutes at speeds approaching 130 mph is ridiculous and probably frowned upon by his department. He placed the lives of many innocent citizens at risk. For what, his pride being hurt because he was left behind. Maybe his department needs to school him in the use of a radio.
It is terrible it's a pride thing for sure so glad he got away it happens in Australia to with the young cop's 👮♂️ it's made young teenagers to come off their dirt bike go flying over a car sometime die at the scene 😕 terrible someone's family member gone 😢 😕 😞
@PradaBoi89 And when they one day screw you over, I don’t want to hear sht. You eat that repair bill and bend over for the piggy’s when they ask you to lick their boots.
After the first 2 minutes I never even saw a bike let alone the one he thinks he's still chasing. Legend has it the cop is still doing a buck 20 trying to catch up.
What I learned in this video: If you are comfortable going over 130 mph on a bike, you will outrun the cops every time. And the police can be extremely reckless in pursuit.
Arkansas/Georgia police will chase you till their tires turn to ash and they need an oil change. So if you have a fast bike and can drive well you’re good. Just have a plan set in motion.😂
The trooper must be a rookie. He needs to relax a before he hurts someone. He hit one vehicle and almost caused an accident. I appreciate what they do just know when to hold em and when to fold em.
Seriously, I watched him damn near hit several cars. Here is my thing the traffic was kinda heavy. The biker took advantage of that and smoked the cop. The trooper should have called off the pursuit after he lost sight of him. But instead, he continued with his 130 mph pursuit chasing ghost. It must not take much to become a cop cause the majority of these cops lose common sense once they put on that uniform.
the cop being untrained and very undisciplined stole the show. yes, the biker does need to be held accountable. since we hold are authority figures to higher standers im afraid the biker got off free as a bird physically and mentally. thats how bad the choices were this dumb cop made.
Yeah was gonna say, dude should be hitting 130 instantly from slowing down. Not saying I've ever ran but my 600 would smoke almost all police if I ever got a chance and that's saying with less than a year of riding 😂
@@Haylem 130 is easily catchable if they can keep you in sight. To evade one has to be able to hit over 160 and get distance, then groove like ya know how with the ditch streets. How I was taught to drive. Watch road a few cars ahead, keep out of the fast lane unless passing, watch following distance, check mirrors, watch road ahead, check speed and dashboard gauges and warnings, watch road ahead, repeat above steps. How some people in this video drive. Pull into fast lane, turn on cruise control, crank up music, ignore the world, get hypnotizedby the bumper of the car in front. Panic brake when police lights seen in rear vision mirror. FFS people, wake up out of your damn road hog driving comas.
The problem that I see in America, in general, is that most drivers have never learned or been taught lane discipline, in Europe, you had better stay in your correct lane when making turns, return to the correct lane after passing and check your rearview mirrors frequently, if you don't you will likely get a ticket.
Most operators get in their vehicles and act as if they are sitting in their Lazy Boy recliner in their living rooms. Too many operators. Too damn few drivers.
The total lack of SA by most drivers is deplorable. It’s like DBs at the grocery checkout that hears the cashier say the total and then start rooting around in her handbag for her wallet.
Can't understand why motorbikes always use the highway as an escape route. Parks, narrow roads, it is a lot of places where ordinary cars generally can't drive.
All those drivers that didn't move from the fast (passing) lane are drivers with "tunnel vision," they are not defensive drivers, they should receive negative points for insurance coverage.
Let me see you move for a cop coming up behind you at 125mph. Won't happen, and I pray to God you end up on RU-vid with ppl saying how YOU should've moved and YOU'RE the idiot.
Everyone talking about the people in the left lane should consider what it feels like to have a car appear behind you at 120mph. Sure they could be more aware and check the mirrors; but when someone is approaching you at that speed you kind of just freeze up and become afraid to make the wrong move. Most skilled drivers who are speeding cut through traffic switching lanes. The cops just appears on your ass and Bogarts you into moving. Cops are out of control here. What a waste
Yes, it happened to me a few times out in Colorado. When someone passes a car they usually pass at around 5 to 10 mph faster. If the other car is doing 70 you would naturally pass at 80. Cop car doing 110 mph will come up behind you so fast you have no idea as you just naturally check your mirrors only a few times as necessary as it is not normal to have a cop car come up from behind you that fast. Cops know that they have to be patient for drivers to adapt to something that is unusual and wait for them to move over safely. Also, when moving at highway speeds it is much more difficult to hear the police sirens coming up from behind due to wind and road noise. Your point was spot on.
Left lane cruising is against the law in NJ. And for the folks who agree here checking your mirrors and surroundings regularly is part of "operating" a motor vehicle. We all give our word with an ink signature on a legally binding contractual agreement giving our word we will be a safe and courteous driver in exchange for the privilege to drive. PAY ATTENTION TO THE WEAPON YOU ARE DRIVING AND NOT YOUR PHONE!!!! Every single one of those drivers failing to move should be mailed a ticket.
You are wrong, if a drivers is paying attention to surroundings then this should not happen, also the police sirens are very loud. Anyone with decent ears can hear them and that should make the driver pay more attention, on top of that police cars have crazy bright lights. If a driver can't hear or see the lights from far away then it means that they are blind and deaf, they shouldn't be on the road.
@@cranky1812 appearently 70% of the people driving here are then blind and deaf. I am totally aware of what should happen. I am pointing out the reality of what does happen and why people act this way even after seeing the lights behind them. The entire chase was pointless; it endangered and upset all those people for no reason. All because a biker didn’t have his license plate.
@@iconwithnikeson I totally believe that the chase was pointless. I ride motorcycles myself and I know how crazy fast these motorcycles are and cop cars have no chance. My point was that people are getting bad when it comes to driving and they don't pay attention. In this video itself you can see that they didn't move for the cop. In this case it was a motorcycle but think about it, if it was something like life saving organ or an injured person in the cop car.

The officer obviously doesn't have enough sense to realize that the biker is toying with him. He could easily smoke him and disappear from his field of vision. And to continue to pursue him while risking the lives of others is beyond me.
As I agree with all of you... this must be his first pursuit, a young man who doesn't know what he's up against fuel by ego and adrenaline is a bad combo.

I'm sitting in Wellington, New Zealand watching this and screaming at the morons who sit in the fast lane. We have just as many of these over here. Does my head in.
Exactly. AND let us NOT forget about the drivers stopped at a red light, and AFTER the light turns green, they just sit there for several seconds. One afternoon while my husband was driving and the driver just sat at the green light, and many seconds passed without the driver going, I rolled down my window and leaned out and yelled “They Only Make One Shade Of Green, MOVE!”. My husband looked at me in shock, BUT at least that driver drove on🤭.
Actually the rider wouldn’t be risking “everyone’s lives” so that is bit of over exaggeration in the title. Not to say a direct T bone in driver side or passenger door couldn’t happen, however the higher risk would be pedestrians getting fatal injuries. And dang some of those drivers really need to work on their situation awareness
As a motorcycle rider i dont feel like stopping for police..we are always speeding . We are on street legal race bike. We get on it and feel like unstoppable. The speed is insane...
Definitely not the bike thats wreckless. The cops are nuts andby far the biggest hazard. Runninf cars off the road on a freeway at 100+ just for a stupid speeding ticket? This cop should be fired. Badge doesnt mean youre Mario andretti.
I don't know the American traffic laws. In Germany there is the so-called right-hand drive requirement. If there are several lanes, you always have to use the right lane and may only use the middle and/or left lane to overtake and then get back into the right lane. In Germany there are many idiots who have a left-right disorder and only have a smartphone in front of their face instead of an inside mirror. But in the USA it seems to be even more crazy!
You're right. It's worse here. It varies from state to state. Depends on whose opinion you ask. But California, Florida and Georgia seem to be near the top of the list for oblivious drivers.
@@jaysonstinson9458 Every people or nation has its peculiarities and fetishes. For example, I can't understand the gun laws in the US. Most states have laws against obstructing traffic, and those laws are only applied in extreme cases which what we see in. This video is considered a normal American drivers being totally oblivious to what’s going around them and that’s considered OK as we see in the video now the cop just doesn’t start pulling these people over and giving them tickets. At the one point when the cop got close to the tail of that bike and saw see NO tag . . . Thats when he should have known how the rest of this chase was going to be. Could have dropped the pursuit right there. Im surpised he even got that close.
the fact that the officer got 3 feet away from the dude on the bike while doing 106 mph should tell you everything you need to know about this officer.
The amount of money they could acquire if they did would not only buy every trooper a much better, more powerful cruiser, but allow them to double all employee salaries lol.
When Stars start giving tickets for not yielding to sirens and putting it on news then embarrassment will stop this consistent driving in left lanes and braking 😂
The people pulling to the left are worse than the ones not moving... That was almost a collision with one because at the literal last second they put a blinker on and moved left when the right was open. ALWAYS move to the right when possible... jfc
I "NOTICE on every police chase in Arkansas ( STATE POLICE ) very few motorists "PULL OVER ON THE RIGHT" when the police vehicles approached them during chase & also if they do they are very slow ( moving right or changing lane ) need to be "EDUCATED ABOUT THAT" because of that its very hard to the "POLICE" to APPREHEND THESE SUSPECTS.
