Eloise is Adorable and that big beautiful smile of hers would brighten the dullest day! It amazes me how much pain those cows must feel, until you come along and give them immediate relief. It makes me wonder how bad it would have been for them before domestication and you wonderful hoof-trimmers. Bless you all. And it was good to see Tom back in the frame. 😊🙏

Your intro is one of the best I've seen in a long while and the quality comes across as professionally made. In my opinion, the videos are very well edited with the right mix of talking, music, & banter so they never drag or are boring. I noticed hoof gp has now switched to a KVK crush, they must be a bit nicer for him to also switch over. They do seem very nice based on Tom's walk-around video of his. Plus the small crush puller trolley is awesome 👌
He hasn't completely changed over. He is going to be using both the KVK and the Appleton-Steel. Craig said that it was going to be job/farm specific which one they use. It seems like the KVK is better for full access while the AS has better operator protection from wilder cows. I would imagine they will use the KVK for day to day trimming and the AS on days when they will be trimming bulls.
Speaking form experience it’s hard to run two different systems.u will never get proficient at either if ur constantly switching Two very different machines

I’ll bet the banter there was hysterical! I would have liked to have seen at least some highlights of the gathering. I don’t know if the insertion of the pus part was to gratify the viewers who just can’t get enough pus. I’m really glad that sweet cow got some relief, but it seems like hoof trimmers on RU-vid are being pressured by viewers to put pus in every video.😿 Tom and Gareth are reason enough to come to this channel-and the occasional appearance of Eloise.❤️

They do grow up so fast, I'm now 41 and my son just went off to bootcamp last year and now hes getting ready to go on deployment for a year 😭🤧😭 I'm not used to being away from my baby lol First time I went on a get away I totally changed plans so my son could go lol best trip ever. Helping these beautiful animals has got to be so satisfying. I've read we don't have a lot of cows in Texas who have hoof problems. Why so many problems in Ireland?

I'm so looking forward to the next video of sharpening but would you please include the anatomy of the knives as well because although I've been watching hoof trimmers from both sides of the pond for well over 2 years it wasn't until this video where you held the knife still that I suddenly realized the blade is scooped-shaped --- had absolutely no idea! have never had a good look at one till now because the trimmers in other videos just grab their knife and just jump into trimming. It would be most appreciated, thank you. And in the near future you'd like to feature a full length video of your precious daughter just sitting in front of the camera babbling away, I doubt any of us viewers would mind.
I thought the wrap you use to keep the dressing in place was cohesive. If so, why do you tuck the end of it in, rather than just pressing it on the rest of the wrap?
That hurts! I hear her screaming and my heart breaks. Please ease her pain. Can't they put some kind of local anesthesia on her? In cold blood that's strong. Where there is infection there is a lot of pain.
