The road to your vespa is rough as it seems, so show me what Varmy wants, show me your crystal dream, your dreaaammmm yeah!
@@Keep_Crying_Son it's partially a piss take on the lyrics, & pretty funny. 'Eye's n Mind Open For Certainty' or' House and Mind Open For Serving Tea' lolz
my mates band Tonguelash opened for these guys at Zacs niteclub in Hawera taranaki In 1993.... It was their Newzealand tour for the album release i think.. Was a awesome night... their roadies bought a couple of ounces or weed :)
choice, enjoyed re-listening to this after 10+ years - I msg Mikey who corrected me on the lyrics as a 12 year old listening on cassette I always thought it was Crystal ball, I now know it's Crystal dreams..
man, flashback to teenage years awesome!! always loved this song. was on the soundtrack to a bodyboarding video, but not sure which one. ripping the pit maybe???
I was asked recently "where is your tape you had with Song 27 on it". Now i know why i have to find it as this song is their best and brings back some awesome memories of when i was teenager when i listened to it!!!!! Rock on!!!!!
Dam somewhere in time I lost all recognition that this was a NZ band. I always thought they were skidrow or something now I'm wondering why the hell they weren't alot bigger and more well known. Massively underrated then again NZ music couldn't break into the world market as easily back then
Love it. love them. Love the drummer. What is he doing these days? I saw them live in Brisbane.. I think it was 92. I have their albums on cassette... need to transfer to digital...
I met andy kane in sydney in 96....quite by chance......he was doing soundwork for a tv station there.....push push finished cos mikey walked out on them. Andy reckoned I was the only person who'd ever recognised him...lol
@RoBmStAr1 Haha yeah I remember that from when I first saw it. I guess no one else has noticed cause there has been no mention of it. Epic epic faceplant haha awesome
I'd say Mikey Havoc (Michael Roberts) is a very distant cousin (through the Jones family), I was wondering if any of him is also a Montgomery as well as I've met one of them whose a Queenslander locally although I had nothing in common with him,I tried working for him only to find out he was very different to me,so I'm hopefully going to meet the "others" next week that are perhaps closer to me as a person. There's a quite a few different forms of them (Booths) & not all of them are like me,they wonder if I'm related to my own family sometimes, put it this way, I've met 1 that's a Gray & 1 that's a Townsend, they are both nothing like me,they are more like each other !!!! My great, great grandmother immigrated to New Zealand from Italy in the 1860's I'd say,she was a Cacciattolo,my grandfather never told anyone so I'm not sure if that was to do with the mob or anything,New Zealand is a small place so the chances people are cousins to each other are very big. My grandfather & his family immigrated to Australia when he was a boy & they moved around a lot, he's 98 years old now & I don't know how long he has to live, they used to live a few kays outside of Mullumbimby (near Byron Bay) although the last I've heard he's staying in a nursing home at Bangalow just outside of Byron Bay,him & my grandmother are too old to live in their house now. I'm p**sed off because he may never see me get married & I was the same when my grandmother on my mothers side (surname Martyn) died in 2006, she never saw me get married to a woman, some of that Booth can't work out why I'm not married or haven't had steady employment for years, put it this way,one of them that's a Barker (Lambert) is after me to marry. If anyone asks me if I've been too picky I'll just way well , none of that Wade that's a Brown or Smith has wanted me & has never wanted to know me as a person, they are very different to me as well !!!! Why would they say no to a person such as myself ???? '
The only mistake they made with this song IMO was releasing it after Trippin'. I think people were expecting another hard out song, so i reckon they should have released What My Baby Likes and followed that up with this.

Is this the chorus?? I gotta find something like the clear light o' day, yeah Rich, thick with substance got my wheel, where's my way? The road to your best life ain't as rough as it seems So show me one Buy me one Show me your crystal dreams
Push Push they werent to bad , Havoc 's greatest gig was Claire Chitham "Waverly from Shortland Street the lucky bastard ,She is as sweet as Honey and straight from Heaven , But them she called "Stumps" on Havoc and He had to Push Push OFF OFF!!
@@tweake7175 thanks Tweake, always used to think it was West Coast but watching it recently thought it might have been Pakiri. But Muriwai makes sense as you've been able to drive on it. The contrast in the shoot makes it hard to tell as the sand looks yellow instead of black
