Actually what happened is that the tv show wanted them to mime and the band rightfully said no fucking way! They played live and raw and this is what rock n roll should allways raw and striped back. Great example of how Australian TV would treat NZ bands with complete disrespect. Mocking them right up to the time they took the stage Aussy wankers.
I reckon its more a reflection of the band being arrogant fucks and not taking the advice of what a good live TV performance is... they wouldve been loud as fuck which is a cunt to mix for TV, then drunk... The show got amazingly good performances from alot of great bands, sadly these guys were great or amazing. Their live shows were def better than this TV performance. BUt they had Lights, smoke and glam... also probably were alot more sober live and in tune.
@@jeffp9090 You must have been the one high on drugs, buddy. Nice to meet you though :) Why are you surprised I still remembered the band ? Did you know we still play and record ? Here , try this EP we released in 2017. Enjoy
Honestly looks like they weren't given a sound check. Wouldn't surprise me considering how butthurt Australians are towards New Zealanders for beating them at rugby.
Yery ironic - they sound more like a grunge band here, even though they were a glam metal band. You could argue they were ahead of the curve and beat Kurt Cobain to the sound of the future!
Silver's guitar was louder than the rest and out of tune it seems..................bummer, ha! I feel bad for the other guitarist (the blonde one on the right), as when you can hear him (too guiet) he Was in tune..... bet that ripped his undies. How fu@ked off would the rest of the band seemed when they saw this aired. Rule number one.....DON'T turn your guitar up after the sound check, and please make sure it's in tune, dumbbum
