Chief. This slaps so hard. You're absolutely on to something here. I've listened to this cover, multiple times per day, every day, for almost two months I think. Spruce up the channel a little, make some playlists. Recs: Filk Covers, Space Songs, All Originals, Originals by Genre/Mood. Next up: 9-5 Barbarian, and If you're feeling ambitious, try writing a foil to Julia Ecklar's Filk Song: "Darkness" from the POV of the husband. Put up a Ko-Fi so we can contribute to the beer/whiskey fund. I'll have to think up an appropriate way of saying thanks if you manage to revive filk with more of these absolute fucking bangers.
