GREAT to see you and Walter out trail riding without hurting Walter........ Luna's black jeep kind of reminds me of my 07 JK Rubicon that I had.though Rubydoo was only on 35's
Always enjoyable Hollie. Love seeing Walter out there with you and his view on some of these obstacles. Awesome you all had a great day and thank you so much for sharing
I'm glad to see Walter back out on the trails with you and I'm excited for the next great thing you two get yourself into and the next great video to come out ❤
Wait, no flipper?! It was fun seeing a trail video. You guys were supposed to go left after the first drop where you got out and looked 😂 That wall crack after the turn gets lots of people though 🤙🏼
Going downhill at 6:00 I was really worried for Luna's Jeep, because although it's extended it's still not as long as the 4-doors, so I thought the rear tires were going to come up off the ground for sure. I was pleasantly surprised when it didn't!!! Great driving everyone!!!
We are in Texas and usually wheel @HiddenFallsAdventurepark. But even though I have a front camera, I am always that one guy who gets out and looks (GOAL stickers anyone?). I would rather take the 2 minutes to make sure then roll it with the Family in the jeep!
@@MischiefMakerTV practically grew up out there but haven’t been in probably 10 years. I was happy to see some of my favorite content creators. Now I gotta get my Jeep down here for some fun!
@@kyleanderson4376 definitely! And stop by the shop sometime (just put MischiefMakerTV in google maps). If I can join you for a trail run, I certainly will 😁
Good afternoon , John here (Chocolate Cottage ) quick ? are you going to be back from Moab around the 12th of April ? My friend and I are coming to St. George to Tuacahn to see Foreigner we would like to drop off some chocolates and possibly pic your and Walters brains on the route im going with my JKU (Lary Wayne).
BFGs were on every rig except the black 4dr with green accent colors - that rig is on 40” Milestar Patagonias. I run BFG 42” Red Label Krawler sticky compound tires. And the black 2dr with a red cage has the same tires. The white 4dr is running 39” BFG KM3 Mud Terrains.
The trails change constantly. Sand moves with the wind, boulders settle/get pushed around, continual traffic changes the shape of obstacles & many other factors. On this trail in particular, there were new lines created of varying difficulty that helped keep things interesting. I should note that in certain areas like Moab, taking ‘new’ lines that aren’t part of the established trail are a terrible idea - but that’s what makes Sand Hollow so special. It’s Open OHV and you can traverse any section of the trail you would like. 😀
@@MischiefMakerTV thank you for your response. It makes sense oh by the way May 31st through 3 June we are going to be at the Rubicon if you’re interested.
So what i see after watching many rock crawl videos is keep the left front tire on or pointed at the black marks and you should be ok, i think I'll still have you or Rory drive me through the first time 😁 (don't frown too much, Rory is kinda family)
As far as safety, yes. Let the black marks be your guide 😊. That said, there is a ton of nuance to driving the 8-9 rated trails (scale of 1-15 in Sand Hollow) and you’d definitely want an experienced guide or trail leader. A lot of people think you need a big expensively built Jeep to run these trails, but I still believe in Seat Time Over Everything because a skilled (not always just the talented) driver with a JKU on 37s and locked Dana44s can handle about 85-90% of the trails I hit with MM (maybe not as easily, but it can be done!) And about Rory - I don’t blame you! He is a master. I only have 5 years of experience off roading and even though I’ve hit over 20 states during that time, there is no shortcut to acquiring the skill level and comfort level he has with his rig 😎🤘🏻
@MischiefMakerTV thanks for even noticing me Holly, and yeah literally Rory's a cousin and my youngest brother's best friend in high-school 😁 (I was long since out of the army and married by then)
